**Re: Safety Complaint – New 2026 Can-Am Ryker Rally 900 ACE** I am submitting this complaint regarding a newly purchased 2026 Can-Am Ryker Rally 900 ACE and a potentially serious safety concern that occurred during the vehicle's initial trip home from the dealership, Redline Powersports in [XXX]. During the sales process, the transaction included substantial additional charges beyond the stated vehicle price and its current advertised price on its website. My paperwork reflects a vehicle price of approximately $10,638, with additional charges including approximately $1,995 for freight, $1,950 for dealer preparation, $552 for accessories, $399 in administrative fees not including Reg/Tax. I am reviewing whether all pricing and additional charges were adequately explained and disclosed. My immediate concern, however, is **vehicle safety**. My neighbor drove the new Ryker while I followed behind in another vehicle. I, personally, observed a **visible cloud of white smoke coming from or immediately behind the vehicle while it was being operated**. The rider also reported a **burning smell** while operating the Ryker. The vehicle reached approximately 60 mph during the trip. I am concerned that there may have been a mechanical, exhaust, fluid, cooling, electrical, assembly, or other defect present when the vehicle was delivered. I am requesting that this incident be documented as a safety complaint involving a new 2026 Can-Am Ryker Rally 900 ACE. Given my concerns about the original transaction, I would prefer, if possible, to have the vehicle evaluated by another authorized Can-Am/BRP dealer or otherwise obtain an independent diagnosis of the white smoke and burning odor.
