My bike was brought into an authorized / certified service center and the, Component: rear wheel was not serviced correctly ; the service person forgot to install one of the two wheel bearings and the one bearing he did install was placed on the wrong side of the wheel ; I took the bike ; started my road trip ; the rear tire was wobbly but I thought it was an alignment issue that I would have to deal with when I arrived at the next service center. Safety: the wheel bearing was required for the bike to be assembled correctly ; the one lug nut holding the rear wheel assembly on the bike almost worked itself loose ; which would have caused my rear-wheel to lave the bike ; causing me to have certain injury or death Reproduced: Yes, I brought my bike to another authorized / certified service center and they determined the issue ; held my bike from use as it was not roadworthy (they commented, how I could be alive given the distance to their service center) ; the necessary parts were ordered, installed ; I took the bike : the front wheels were out of alignment which was 'masked' by the rear wheel being installed incorrectly Inspected: the vehicle was inspected by the service shop who performed the necessary service to my rear-wheel ; I tried to make an appointment with the original service center but they refused to take my call, answer my emails, and when I called they said that they were no longer servicing Can-Am bikes for the forseeable future so could not help me. Warning: There was no warning as I was having my bike completely serviced prior to a road trip (~ 4000 miles) ; upon receiving my bike there was a wobble in my back tire as I rode home ; the service shop was closing after I took my bike ; I was leaving the next day on my road trip ; so decided to deal with the wobbly back wheel when I arrived at the next service shop ; I rode at 55mph because the wobbly rear wheel was noticeable at 60mph and terrible at 70 mph
