2022 CHEVROLET BLAZER- Bullock , NC
"Steering Assist is Reduced, Drive With Care" showed up on the dashboard. The temperature gauge dropped to dead cold. Once the car was parked and cut off, the fan still kept running for 5 minutes. From my research it seems these are the signs of a thermostat being stuck open. It also seems this is a very common problem with this car, according to the internet. This vehicle has around 70K miles. There were no other issues prior to this failure.

As I accelerated after the traffic light turned green the vehicle stalled. I was able to move the vehicle to the curb on XXX [XXX] is a two-way road. The vehicle stalled while on an active road which could have led to my vehicle being rear ended causing potential injuries to myself and other drivers. The engine turned over and there was fuel in the gas tank, however, the vehicle wouldn't start. A warning light showed: "low battery", but since the engine was trying to start, it seems unlikely that the battery was low. A second warning light showed: "battery saving" mode. These lights appeared once the vehicle was parked on the curb of the road. The vehicle was towed to David Chevrolet, a GM dealership on [XXX] about 2 miles away. My 2022 Chevrolet Blazer abruptly Shut down all power for about five seconds while I was stopped at a red light. The vehicle restarted after I pressed the push-button ignition, but the dashboard displayed a brake system error warning with no explanation of the cause or instructions for next steps. No other warning lights preceded the shutdown. The vehicle appeared to resume normal operation after restart, but the brake system warning remained. This appears consistent with complaints filed by other 2022 Blazer owners describing simultaneous electrical and brake system failures.

Intermittent electrical defects are beginning to occur that impact the power steering or power brakes. After starting the vehicle, there are times either the power steering or the power brakes do not function. When the braking defect occurs, the engine warning lamp is displayed and indicates brake system control module. Sudden switch to manual steering or manual braking are a safety hazard. A couple ignition recycles eventually corrects the electrical defect and restores the vehicle to normal operations. Vehicle has been dropped off at dealership for warranty repair.

I have been smelling engine coolant for some time and found a leak on the drivers side top seam where the aluminum meets the plastic tank on the radiator. This is a known problem with 2019=2026 Chevy Blazers by GM and it still hasn't been resolved. After researching, I have found numerous Blazer owners that have this same issue and some are on 3rd and 4th radiator replacement. I am afraid to drive the vehicle due to the leak that could leave me and my family stranded on the side of the road. I am also concerned about a major leak or seam separation that could allow a large amount of coolant out that could get on the tires and cause loss of vehicle control as a result. Also, the leaking coolant is a hazard to any animals that are around as the coolant puddles under my vehicle after driving. At this point, the Blazer is running hotter and I had to add coolant. I just called to price a new radiator...$450 and install...$1,025...that isn't a cost I should have to take on with GM knowing about this issue for years.

Car stalled and told me to put in neutral. Could smell gas. Car wouldn't come back on. Code u18a2 (lost communication with fuel pump communication module), part is available for inspection, we were all at risk due to the car stalling on the highway with no prior warnings, check engine light came on after car stalled, ordered new part from GMC, fix the issue right away. This part has been recalled on other models just not on 2022.

2022 CHEVROLET BLAZER- WINTER HAVEN, FL
BROUGHT MY CAR TO CHEVROLET CENTER IN WINTER HAVEN FLORIDA BECAUSE I HAD 2 DIAGNOSTIC CODES SHOW UP WITH A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, THE CODES WERE (U1345: Indicates a communication fault on the LIN (Local Interconnect Network) Bus, usually tied to modules like the active grille shutters, cooling fans, or charge air cooler (CAC) pump.U0632: Indicates lost communication specifically with Cooling Fan 1.) THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME THEY DIDN'T FIND ANY CODES IN THE SYSTEM AND THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME $165 FOR A DIAGNOSTIC FEE. RIGHT AFTER I LEFT THE DEALERSHIP I WAS HAVING THE SAME CODES POP UP, WITH THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND MY CAR WAS OVERHEATING. CHEVROLETS ECM/PCM WARRANTY IS 8 YEARS OR 80,000 MILES.
