Is available upon request. Transmission chugging, quite often. Pulsing after turning a corner trying to resume speed. Difficulty shifting when cold. Noticed this happening occasionally, but this problem is definitely getting worse, happening daily. I only have 27,000 miles on this truck. I stopped by the dealership and was told to change the transmission fluid myself since the warranty was up. Very disappointed.

I drive a 2017 chevrolet silverado 1500 lt 5.3 V8 Pickup. I currently have 86k miles on this vehicle. I am the second owner and lately have been experiencing loss of power, engine hesitation, poor fuel economy, and high oil consumption. I brought my truck to the dealer I purchased it from ( Koons Chevrolet of Tysons Corner VIRGINIA ) I brought the vehicle in for service because back in February I had the check engine light flash and the truck engine almost cutout (whilst traveling at high speeds )completely. This past week I was merging onto a highway and upon pressing the pedal to increase speed to merge safely the engine lost power completely for about 5 seconds and then magically regained power. During this i was almost side swiped and forced to drive on the shoulder almost crashing into the barrier wall. I had the info screen on my dashboard and was able to trace when this issue occurred. Upon switching from V4-V8 mode. Further research with a mechanic friend of mine revealed that Chevrolet has been using the same failing lifters since 2014 and it was a known issue, yet never recalled. How can I go about either fixing this issue or recuperating the sales price I paid for this faulty vehicle? I dont think it's right that the American tax payers bailed out general motors only for them to cut cost by way of reducing the quality of vehicles they were making... absolutely egregious. Please help. Sincerely, Unhappy Taxpayer ??

Rear window defroster caused back glass to explode. Vehicles was remote started before driving even though in settings auto rear defrost was turned off the rear defrosters were turned on automatically after driving for approximately 10 mins and while stopped at a red light i heard a loud bang and looked back to see a little but of smoke and one half of the powered rear sliding window with defrost had complete shattered, immediately i looked down to find the rear defrost turned on and then turned it off. I have heard of a customer satisfaction bulletin and a recall in Canada for this issue. This is a huge safety concern as when it blows it is loud and could cause someone that is driving to get panicked and swerve as well as potential for fire. This absolutely needs to be a recall for US vehicles as well

In slow driving the braking system is requires significant effort and requires increased distance to stop. service braking system message comes across the dash and goes away after a restart of the vehicle. GM has a recall for this issue but will not perform the programming required a second time despite it being a known manufactures defect.

One random morning engine made funny noises. By time I left work engine light flashing and stability control wouldn’t turn off. Dropped it off to dealership told me it’s 4500 to fix one lifter that failed 7500 to fix all. They know it a problem that GM issues letter on what they recommend to fix, but no recall. My truck warranty expired on 10/2022 and incident happened on 01/2023 my truck had 32987 miles when dropped off after repair 32997 miles. If issue is know and class action in place why hasn’t GM issued a recall.

I was traveling approximately 20MPH on a side street that was snow covered when I came to an uncontrolled intersection where there was another vehicle approaching from my right and when I began to break the abs stabilitrak lights came on and my vehicle began to slide all over the roadway.ABS light Stabilitrak and Service trailer brakes come on causing the vehicle to slide on icy roadways. Bought the car brand new and has 45k miles. The diagnostic pulls up right rear speed sensor, so I replaced it and it still comes on with warning lights and sounds. I’ve tried to find more information on the internet and it seems a lot of people have had the same issues for many years with this problem
