When engine is cold you can smell exhaust fumes . Studs in engine are broke. smelling fumes is not a safety issue ? One other thing the battery distribution block was bad and GM knows its bad, they built a new . The truck shuts off wile driving, or does not start till you hit it with a hammer.

The crank shaft broke at 130k miles and this becoming common to this year and model. The mechanic who has the same truck could not fathom this catastrophic failure at such a early life in this truck. This repair is estimated at 5,000.00-10,000.00 and if this does not work the durmax diesel motor will have to be replaced.

Trailer brake system quit working while towing a Trailer. No warning until service Trailer brake system appeared and all Trailer braking was gone. When a failure like this occurs it makes stopping a vehicle very dangerous.
