2023 CHEVROLET MALIBU- Burlington, WI
The rearview camera started acting funny around March 2026 and completely stopped working in April 2026. When I put the car in reverse it says “service vision system” I have been frequently checking the recall website and it says they are aware of the recall but do not have a fix. I have even called my local Chevy dealer and they had the same info. Not having a rearview camera is a big safety hazard- I live in a neighborhood with numerous children and in a small town where parking is tight and often inconvenient. I would like to have a functioning rear view camera again please!

2018 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 2500- LOOKOUT, WV
2018 Chevy Silverado 2500Diesel Duramax (63,000 miles & Garage kept) While pulling 37' camper on flat terrain, Push Rod bent and broke in half - violently shaking and missing; Engine was ruined. Engine light did not appear until after it started shaking. Luckily this happened before crossing over steep mountain where we would not have been able to get off road or control vehicle and camper behind us. Truck was towed to Chevy dealership; had to wait until 10 days to learn extent of damage. Repair cost was going to be $26,000 and though our truck's trade in value was $37000 before this event, we were offered just $12000 for trade in. Though we had been led to believe that a Chevy Duramax was highly regarded for durability and longevity, we decided to purchase a RAM Truck. NO MORE CHEVYS for us! Contacted Chevy Customer Assistance but because we traded, they would not offer any financial assistance because we took the dealership's offer and traded the next day. We just couldn't stand a $26000 hit on an 8 year old vehicle and had to absorb that amount with our trade in.

2024 CHEVROLET TRAX- Rio Rancho, NM
I have a 2024 Chevy Trax Activ that was originally purchased in British Columbia, CA and subsequently purchased through a private dealer in New Mexico. It has just gone over the 36,000 mile warranty. The infotainment system including the speedometer will occasionally flicker and go black. Additionally the metric to US conversion of mileage will revert back to metric once the vehicle is shut off and restarted. This happens intermittently. There are also USB and Bluetooth connection issues. The vehicle does not show up under any bulletins or recalls as the origin was initially purchased in Canada. This problem has been reported to GM and Chevy customer service. How do I add this to the recall and NHTSA bulletin so I can get this repaired?

2022 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500- Manassas, VA
My company purchased a new 2022 Chevrolet Silverado RST from Bomnin Chevrolet Manassas in December 2022. The vehicle has been properly maintained according to GM’s recommended maintenance schedule, including routine oil changes and tire rotations. On February 10, 2025, the truck began shaking and repeatedly shutting off. Bomnin Chevrolet diagnosed a failed fuel injector and completed the repair. No loaner vehicle was available, requiring me to use Uber transportation until the vehicle was returned on February 12, 2025. On May 19, 2025, the truck again shut off multiple times while traveling approximately 45 mph. The vehicle was returned to Bomnin Chevrolet, where it remained for three days. No loaner vehicle was available, forcing me to rent a vehicle from Enterprise. The dealership ultimately stated it could not diagnose the problem and advised that the failure would have to occur again before it could be repaired. The vehicle was returned on May 22, 2025. On June 18, 2026, the engine shut off while driving and would not restart. The vehicle was towed to Bomnin Chevrolet. After several days, the dealership advised that the engine had suffered catastrophic failure due to a lifter issue and required complete replacement. GM approved the warranty repair; however, the replacement engine is on national backorder. No loaner truck was available. The dealership offered only a $44-per-day rental reimbursement, which is not comparable to the business use of a full-size pickup truck. As of June 29, 2026, the vehicle remains at the dealership, leaving my business without a suitable replacement vehicle and significantly impacting daily operations. I am requesting a voluntary manufacturer repurchase of the vehicle, reimbursement of all rental cars, and a fare financial compensation package for any inconvenience.

2021 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER- Pottstown, PA
Shift assembly kit, it is available. Dealership has to order part for inspection. Still passed inspection. Possible unintended rollaway accidents. Not being able to lock the vehicle as well. Yes, it’s been confirmed. There’s also so many class action lawsuits against GM about this matter. Why isn’t there a recall already?! Getting the “shift to park” message in my vehicle for the 2nd time now in less than 4 years. The shift assembly kit was replaced back in December 2022. Apparently it needs to be replaced again because of a switch.

2022 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500- Bergen, NY
The contact owns a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, several unknown warning lights were flashing. There was an abnormal ticking sound coming from the vehicle before the tailgate opened independently. The contact stated that while attempting to close the tailgate, the tailgate failed to latch securely. The contact stated that the vehicle was unoccupied and turned off when the failure occurred. The dealer was made aware of the failure, and the contact was informed that the repair was not covered under recall. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The contact referenced an unknown recall; however, the VIN was not associated with a recall related to the failure. The contact stated that the failure was a persistent failure. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.

2021 CHEVROLET TAHOE- DeRidder, LA
Fuel pump relay module failed, we had the vehicle towed to a mechanic and payed for the repair, a week later we received mail from GM saying the fuel pump relay module was faulty in our model, that we could take it to a dealership and have it repaired, or if we had already had it repaired we would be reimbursed, the dealership refused to reimburse us, and directed us to GM customer service, we sent the required documents in October of last year, received a call from a GM representative to let us know they were reviewing our case about 3 days after sending the information in, we haven’t heard from them since.

2022 CHEVROLET MALIBU- Amelia Court House, VA
CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND VEHICLE WAS SLOW TO ACCELERATE INTERMITTENTLY. OFTEN SLOW TO TAKE OFF AT A STOP LIGHT. SAFETY CONCERNS OF BEING REAR END DUE TO SLOW TAKE OFF. TOOK VEHICLE TO CHEVY DEALER FOR REVIEW AND THEY INDICATED AND SHOW A PICTURE OF THE TURBO BOOSTER BEING BROKEN. PER DEALER THIS CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO LOOSE POWER AND NOT ACCELERATE PROPERLY. DEALER STATED I WAS 5k MILES OVER WARRANTY AND EXISTING SERVICE SPECIAL COVERAGE NOTICE N252508360 FOR 2022 MALIBU DID NOT COVER MY VIN.

2009 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER- Whiteville, TN
My first complaint is that headlights, low beam, would not work. Only high beams worked. The issue stopped, unexplainable, on its own, has not occurred again. The 2nd complaint is the radio volume would 'slip' as if there were a loose wire to the speakers, and loss of sound became more frequent and for longer periods of time, eventually all sound stopped, it has not been fixed, as of yet. 3rd complaint, a brand new battery, in under a year of use, went completely dead, without any visible explanation. When an attempt to jump start the vehicle the cables from another cars battery were touched at my cars battery, it sparked, indicating to the person performing the task, there is a 'short' somewhere in the wiring system. I drive this vehicle less than 3000 miles per year, and use it sporadically with my second vehicle to keep the batteries active. I cannot explain why these issues are occurring but thought it important to mention them to other possible victims with the same issues.
