2016 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN Complaints

Actuator failed and car makes a loud buzzing sound when locking or unlocking the door. Back driver-side door won't open.

Rear door actuator failures, 2nd time this has happened. Currently the driver side rear passenger door will not open or unlock, manually or with key fob. It will not open in any manner. The passenger side will only open or lock manually. Passengers cannot exit vehicle causing safety risk.

The contact owns a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle stalled with the oil warning light illuminated. The contact had taken the vehicle to a dealer and was informed the vehicle was using an excessive amount of engine oil. Additionally, the vehicle was leaking transmission fluid. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA Campaign Number: 16V461000 (Power Train). The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 126,000.

All engine and interior is muddy, i brought it once for windows not working and motor got replace, transmission was replace now gasoline leaking and ac is not working, electric ports dont work

One day it just quit working. Along with the lock making a loud noise. Now I can’t get my kids out in the case of an emergency. This needs to be fixed asap.

The sliding door actuator lock gets stuck in the locked position. Making it unsafe for me and my kids to get out in an emergency. Same with the back trunk. It was stuck for months then just started working again.

The contact stated that the RPM’s increased and the front tires locked up. The contact lost control of the vehicle and the vehicle skidded across the road into oncoming traffic. The vehicle came to a stop on the left side of the roadway. The contact stated that the check engine warning was illuminated. The contact had the vehicle towed to an independent mechanic who diagnosed and determined that the transmission pump had failed, which caused the transmission to seize. The mechanic related the transmission pump failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 16V461000 (Power Train). The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

The steering and wheel alignment of the vehicle is habitually misaligned and pulling drastically to the right. The vehicle has been serviced and aligned multiple times, and the auto mechanic shop says that the alignment can no longer be set properly. They charged me extra for some additional part to help correct this and allow the vehicle to be aligned, however that did not help. Although the steering wheel appears in alignment, the front wheels continue to pull sharply to the right, causing a safety issue because the vehicle is constantly trying to move to the right.

Loud buzzing sound on passenger side when locking or unlocking doors front and side door very loud buzzing sound afraid if I have my grandbabies in back seat is the door going to fly open or worse what is the noise and is this a recall that can be fixed never happened before now it is all the time buzzing when you lock and unlock doors.
