2016 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN Complaints

The contact owns a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 MPH suddenly the vehicle's speed began to reduce but the RPMs increased before moments later the vehicle accelerated forward at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was later taken to the local mechanic who diagnosed a transmission failure. No further details were provided. The contact later schedule a service appointment with a transmission specialist. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The local dealer was not contacted regarding the failure. The failure mileage was 45,600.

Driver side passenger sliding door locked and won’t unlock to open door no manual override way to open door I feel is a safety hazard if in a accident.

Drivers side door is stuck in the locked position and will not unlock or open no matter what is done.

As of today, 8/3/2022 I have now replaced multiple parts on my vehicle for the code P0302. I replaced the #2 coil, spark plug for the code previously coming on in June. I now replaced the fuel injector and the manifold gasket but the car is still misfiring. If you do a search on this issue on the internet you will find multiple owners experiencing the same issue I am, do the same steps of repair and still coming up with the same issues after. Dodge has previously acknowledges an issues with the cylinder heads on the 2010 to 2013 models but have not added the newer ones which are obviously having the same issues costing owners extremely costly repairs.

Problem trans , copliar , overhearting and tires but my dodge still sit at shop waiting but still owe Vehical and try bank and dealership frustrated and need drive school , college , etc shop said different water pump , motor , trans , but fixed themiost and not work and worse now so can’t drive and still owe I am not happy and please email me And can’t speak voice phone thanks

Sliding drivers side door will not open. Does not unlock, lock, latch and buttons do nothing. Door is stuck in closed position. Very unsafe! This vehicle is used for a handicap adult.

An electrical failure creates a buzzing sound when unlocking the car doors this has also led to failure of the back sliding door behind the driver seat to open.

Driver side passenger sliding door is stuck in locked position and will not open manually or electronically. This poses severe safety risk in the event that passenger needs to exit vehicle quickly.

My right side passenger door is 100 percent stuck in the lock position. We have car seats in the captains chairs and can not tend to the children properly because the door will not open. There is not even an option to open manually! We need the doors to be easily open to get the kids in a case of an emergancy

Have had issues with the 6th cylinder since we bought it. Same issues as 2015 and down. 6th cylinder piston is crumbled. 800 motors back ordered with one company and dozens back ordered with others.
