Passenger headrest airbag went off /exploded open while I was parking the van in my driveway. No one was sitting in the passenger seat so no one was injured. Yes, you can inspect it. I called dodge but they said there were no recalls. No one has inspected it. No warning lights.

I have a 2014 Dodge Caravan.The van only has 48 k miles. The battery went bad so I replaced the battery. Then the problem started. 1st the car will NOT turn off. I remove the key and the engine is still running and won't turn off. I had to remove the ASD relay which was very hot. Once I was able to shut down ,now the dashboard shows the car in reverse but it is actually in park and won't come out of gear. The check engine light is on, the tire is low light is on, and the car with tire tracks is on,(abs). I looked up recalls and they have had a recall on the fuelpump relay .

The contact owns a 2011 Dodge Durango. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, the engine overheated after idling for 10 minutes. A mobile mechanic arrived at the residence and replaced the upper and lower coolant hoses and the thermostat; however, the failure persisted, and the coolant reservoir was significantly hot. A second mechanic diagnosed that the head gasket had failed. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was taken to another mechanic to be diagnosed. The used car dealer where the vehicle was purchased was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 260,000.

Here in AZ we had some strong monsoon storms and during one last week, my car was shaken from the winds and rains so bad that my driver side curtain airbag was visible. It did not fully deploy but the bag was exposed. There is a current recall on these bags but since this happened before the recall fix(at the shop now getting replaced) should insurance have been contacted before hand since this was weather that caused the partial deployment? How safe are the replacements?

Front gas tank strap pulled out from (rusted)-frame. Dropping front of (full) gas tank inches from road. I’m told there was an extended warranty for the issue. That I never received notice of. It has since expired. I found recall - U04/NHTSA 18V-160 That I’m also told doesn’t apply to my vehicle. Odd that the extended warranty would have. But the recall doesn’t?

The engine began stalling and reving while driving. It is at the shop with an estimate of 2500.00 to 4000.00 to repair due to faulty cylinder #2. Researching this, we are not the first to have issues. As stated by my repair place, it’s a ticking time bomb waiting for it to cause a serious major incident and possible injuries. Vehicle is less than 8 years old and less than 100,000 miles

The racetrack lighting on the tailgate had water in it and dodge refused to repair or replace...now I have no racetrack lighting and no tag light and they still will not help.

The contact owns a 2023 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed and attempting to slow down, the brake pedal was slightly depressed and there was an abnormal vibration in the brake pedal. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the brake pads and rotors on the driver’s and passenger’s side front wheels. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, a case was opened, and the contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was 21,000.

Manufacture defect, steering column rubbing against brake line causing brake line to rupture causing damages with possible danger of fire or possible collision

The contact owns a 2017 Dodge Journey. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the air bag warning light unexpectedly illuminated. The dealer was contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 138,718.
