I brought . my car to the dealership and they told me the airbags had an active code in the harness wiring in the driver's seat and wanted 1000 dollars to repair or rebuild the harness. They didn't have a replacement harness available and said the part did not exist so they would have to custom build one. They said it was not under warranty because I have48,000 miles on my car. I can not believe that a safety issue involving the airbag operation would not be covered by the manufaturer. I really need help

I am reaching out for assistance in resolving a passenger air bag issue in my 2008 Dodge Sprinter RV (Case 84229129 for codes R49 and S14). Fiat/Chrysler(FCA) notified us of a recall associated with both the driver and passenger airbags in September, 2022. We took the vehicle to Bob Brady Chrysler in Decatur, IL for service at FCA’s recommendation. The driver side air bag was replaced without incident. After ten days, Bob Brady advised us they could not complete the repairs and would need to ‘open a Star case’ for escalation. I contacted FCA and was advised they would assist me in finding another dealer to fix the passenger air bag and opened case 84226749 within 5 days on opening the case. We went and picked up the vehicle. The paper work at the time of pick up clearly states, “…with codes present in the vehicle, there is the possibility that in the event of an accident, the airbags may not deploy.” FCA did not respond to the opened case and when we reached back out to them, we were advised the case was closed. Their records indicate both passenger and driver airbags have been repaired and are in working order. When I disputed this, FCA further advised I would need to readdress with Bob Brady as another dealer would not be available to complete the repairs. The SRS warning light remains on within the vehicle. I have attempted contact with Bob Brady’s service manager on several occasions without a response. I am reaching in with a request for assistance to help resolve the issue with the airbag repair.

My 2012 Dodge Ram shuts off or stalls for no apparent reason. Sometimes upon starting, while going down the freeway (at freeway speeds), as well as speeds in between, This has happened with my family in the vehicle and even when we are towing our stock trailer with animals inside. This is very scary for all of us and dangerous for all those on the round around us. While we have not been involved in any accidents, its just a matter of time. There is never any warning when this happens and it not only shuts off it looses power to everything. So times it catches its self and restarts, other times we have to manually restart the engine.

My passenger side powered sliding door wont close all the way. The back part won't latch. Even if we close it manually it wont close all the way. This car is only 5 years old!! Why am I having so many problems with it. How can I feel safe driving my car when one of the doors won't close correctly?

The UConnect system in the 2020 Dodge Durango SRT has been compromised. the vehicle has experienced major safety concerns and life threatening issues for the driver. All components from body telemetry to speed control breaking fuel consumption electrical the brain itself the GPS the tracking equipment and software. Somebody a(hacker or Toyota) is remotely hacked and controlling the system just like the voluntarily recall of Jeep. However the UConnect system is a Toyota product or I was lead to believe. The Uconnect system has failed. It has been hacked. The malware has affected every component of the the Dodge Durango. The vehicle needs to be recalled and bought back. Taken off the road. The defective software makes the vehicle a death trap and a malware networking hub. I fear for my life and the safety of my life because of this vehicle. This has been a daily occurrence since 06/14/2022, When I purchased the vehicle.

Sliding electric door on driver side will not open. It is locked into the closed position and I can't open it manually. Will not open no matter what I try

Tie rod end sheared/broke causing the vehicle to be un-stearable. Fortunately, it happened as I was backing out of my driveway.

The contact owns a 2005 Dodge Durango. The contact stated that the vehicle was previously repaired under NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 16V352000 (Air Bags) and 05V034000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) however, the failure occurred after the recall repairs were performed. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the air bag warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the dashboard was damaged, and the passenger's side air bag compartment was opened. Additionally, fuel was spilling out of the filler tube while refueling the vehicle. The dealer was made aware of the failure; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 215,000.

The camshaft has balded on one of the cylinders. I first said I had a check engine light with a P0303 code. I replaced the spark plugs, the ignition coils, the fuel injector, and even the PCM. None of that fixed it. I was driving on the freeway when it started flashing the check engine light and the car lost all power so the RPMs don't like to go over 3k. The check engine light still flashes like crazy every time I turn it on and even touch the gas. I checked the vacuum lines and sensors and air lines. They are all perfect. Then I checked the compression and it is less than half of what it is supposed to be on just one cylinder. I looked at the camshaft and found that it was bald and not creating compression that way. I did some research on some forums and found this is really common for this year of Ram. This made it undrivable and unsafe without power. My car didn’t want to start after seeing a check engine light saying cylinder 2 misfire then 4 had fuel pump replaced still had check engine light and was misfiring afterwards a week or two the truck stalled while driving off freeway in middle of traffic breakers did not work, car frozen almost wrecked. I had it towed back to garage and they replace fuel pump again but car won’t stay on it will turn on then shut off by itself not showing any codes mechanics can’t find issue over 2 weeks at garage already!!
