    A MALFUNCTION IN THE AUTOMATICALLY APPLIED PARKING BRAKE SYSTEM ALLOWED THE PARKING BRAKE TO BE FULLY APPLIED WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS TRAVELING AT 60 MPH ON AN INTERSTATE HIGHWAY.
