Driving down I96 highway, the sunroof/moonroof shattered/exploded with no apparent cause. A loud popping noise followed by spider cracking and fragmenting glass was the result. After closing the top, the glass started to fall. No foreign objects found. I have a 2024 Ford Edge SEL. The issue is the the driver front and passenger front head rests. The head rest is only adjustable up to down, not forward or back. The current position of the head rest with the seat in normal upright driving position forces your head into your chest and you are looking at the floor with no neck support. There is no position to adequately support your head and neck with the current headrest. It is tilted too far forward toward the windshield. Dealer confirmed. Dealer looked it over and said this is how its made. No warnings. Just the position of the headrest appears to be tilted extraordinarily too far forward. High potential for injury in a crash. What I'd like to see is an alternate Headrest to alleviate the angle the current one poses upon the drive rand passenger.

The sensor is too sensitive and even if do not put your foot under the vehicle the liftgate closes on your head or shoulder when you are putting things in or out of the rear area.
