    The contact owns a 2016 Ford Edge. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the low coolant warning light illuminated. The contact parked and inspected the vehicle and refilled the coolant reservoir. The coolant level was frequently low and consumed one gallon of coolant weekly. The vehicle was purchased as a used vehicle a year prior, and the failure began two months after the vehicle was purchased. A document was found in the vehicle from the previous owner which indicated that the vehicle was diagnosed with engine failure. The dealer who performed the diagnostic test was contacted and confirmed the failure. The contact was informed that the vehicle was auctioned off by the previous owner. In addition, the contact researched and stated that it was a known failure with the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.

    taking off from a stop, turning at slow speeds, taking off into a turn when the power is transferred to the rear axel the entire rear end of the vehicle shakes, shutters, judders, pops, chunks until power stops going to rear drive. (AWD). Ford dealership performed and charged me several services that did not fix the problem. I have now taken it to a another shop. The tech has mentioned that he found a service bulletin for this problem. I have searched but have not found the bulletin.

    The contact owns a 2016 Ford Edge. The contact stated that while driving at 15 MPH in the rain, the brake pedal was applied however, there was a delay in responding, and crashed into a Subaru Forester. There was an abnormal squeaking and squealing sound detected. The vehicle was drivable. While approaching a stoplight, there was an abnormal squealing noise, and there was an increase in stopping distance. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact sustained a sprained neck, and medical attention was provided. There was no reported fire or air bag deployment. A police report was filed. The vehicle was taken to a brake center where it was determined there was an ABS failure related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V544000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic) however the parts were not available. The hood was unable to be opened. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was approximately 111,000.

The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed that cylinder #3 needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure reoccurred approximately two weeks later. The vehicle was taken back to the independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed that all three cylinders needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure reoccurred approximately a week later. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 70 MPH, there was an abnormal sound coming from the engine compartment. The vehicle was taken to the residence. The vehicle was taken to two independent mechanics, where it was diagnosed that an unknown hose had leaked fluid into the engine, and the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was then taken to a dealer, where the same assessment was made. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 58,000.
