2019 FORD F-250 SD Complaints

The back window shattered after turning on the rear window defroster. This put back seat occupants in harm. It impaired my vision. There were no warnings to this failure. My insurance company has been notified. Independent auto repair & glass repair shops have inspected the damage. Window must be replaced.

After sitting for extended durations the engine experiences a no start or long crank condition. Research and discussion with local mechanic indicate this is an issue with a failed/failing fuel pump and/or fuel pump module. It is my understanding a recall exists for similar failures on other ford models.

Violent shaking when driving at high speeds and after hitting bumps or uneven streets

The rear view camera is not working when placing the vehicle in reverse. The dash screen is blank even though it changes to appropriate display mode. The area where camera image is supposed to be to display is blank.

The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-250 SD. The contact stated that the rearview camera displayed a distorted image while the vehicle was in reverse(R). The contact stated that the failure obstructed the driver's visibility, which prevented the driver from safely operating the vehicle. No warning lights were illuminated. Most recently, the contact stated that the rearview camera displayed a black screen. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired because the VIN was not under recall. The vehicle was not repaired; however, the contact purchased an aftermarket part, and the rearview camera was repaired, but not the camera assist feature. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 56,000.

Unstable control when driving over uneven roads. Are you sure that recall was done on my truck?

While driving on I-44 at approx. 70 MPH (12:30 PM, bright sunny day, lots of traffic), I hit a bump (not large or deep, just your ordinary bump on a U.S. Interstate), the truck began shaking violently (I'm talking hard to control, teeth rattling, I think we are going to crash). The steering wheel shook violently, my wife was startled, I managed to get it down to abut 45 MPH and the shaking stopped. I was 300 miles from home and it happened at least six more times before I got home.

The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-250. The contact stated that while driving approximately 50 - 65 MPH, the steering wheel became difficult to maneuver and the vehicle experienced the death wobble, causing the vehicle to independently shift into either the left or right lane. A dealer was contacted. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed; however, the result was unknown. The contact was informed that a steering dampener could be added to the control arms. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 185,000.

Ford Diesel 250 flat out stalled while driving on a very congested Highway. Full tank of Diesel. No warning. Complete stall at 65MPH, no brakes, no power steering, no lights. Was almost killed when the truck almost crashed into a bus. Happened (4) more times as we made our way back home. Internet search shows that Ford Motor Company is fully aware of this common failure of their fuel system. Federal regulators need to pressure Ford for a Recall before someone is killed
