2019 FORD F-250 SD Complaints

Driving on highway at 65 mph, hit expansion joint bump--relatively large bump--and experienced the "death wobble" of the steering wheel shaking violently and seeming loss of control (no sway or pull, but difficulty holding the steering wheel itself). Had to slow to almost 40 MPH in highway traffic to regain stability/control of vehicle. Vehicle has ~18000 miles on it at time of incident. No warning lamps or messages. I have not had the vehicle in yet for inspection.

Tailgate opens when driving ,taken it to Ford dealer several times and tailgate still opens on its own when driving. Dealer cannot find issue.Opened again after coming home from dealership I called Ford motor company and they told me that if issue couldn't be duplicated Ford could not help me with this Safety Issue This has been going for at least 1 1/2 yrs

WE TURNED ON OUR REAR WINDOW DEFROST FOR THE 1ST TIME SINCE WE LIVE IN PHOENIX AND HAD NO REAL USE FOR IT. WITHIN 2 MINUTES THE WHOLE REAR WINDOW SHATTERED DROPPING GLASS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE CAB. MY SON WAS IN THE BACK SEAT. THERE WAS NO WARNING THAT WE ARE AWARE OF. I HAVE PICTURE OF THE INCIDENT I CAN SEND. I NEED TO GET IT REPLACED ASAP SO INSPECTION WOULD HAVE TO OCCUR WITHIN THE NEXT 24 HOURS. IT HAS NOT YEP BEEN INSPECTED BY INSURANCE OR DEALERSHIP. INSURANCE IS REPLACING THE GLASS TOMORROW

When traveling at about 55 mph I hit a rough patch in the road on Missouri Hwy 30. The truck started shaking, shimming, bouncing, and wobbling severely, and kept on doing so for an extended period of time and distance traveled. I'm guessing another 100 yards or so. I was able to keep control, but had to slow down and pull over to get it stopped and to get my self calmed down too. It has not happened again as dramatically, but I've been very carefully avoiding road hazards. It does shake more than usual with any unevenness in the pavement. The dealers locally say 6-8 weeks to get an appointment to look at it. Ridiculous!

While driving approx 50 mph, steering wheel began shaking violently. This continued until I came to a complete stop. Approx two weeks later vehicle did it a second time. Also noticed that when turning vehicle into my garage at low speed steering had a popping sound when turned about 3/4 of turn.

While traveling on a paved roadway at approximately 55 miles per hour, I hit a small bump in the roadway and the steering wheel began shaking violently. This continued until I slowed and came to a near stop.

On 03/15/2022 if just had my first experience with the "Ford Death Wobble" at 70mph on interstate 64 in Virginia, I was able to control this with out damage to other cars on the interstate and was able to pull the truck onto the shoulder and stop. After researching last night online I was able to find this has been an on going problem for Ford. I purchased this vehicle new in November 2019 and according to the tags this truck just left the factory in October 2019. Looks like that Ford contacted dealers about the problems for repairs and stated that letters would be sent to owners, but in my case no letter was sent and my address has not changed in 28 years. They had extended the warranty on the front end to 3years or 100,000 miles for repairs. But here is the problem unless you hit a seam or pothole at high speed you will not know about this problem and I need to travel to my job ever day 200 miles round trip and this was the first time this happen to me with the death wobble and currently I have 107,000 miles on this truck and this Ford problem more than likely will not be covered under Ford CSP warranty since this is not a "Recall" this is VERY DANGEROUS!

I was driving down the interstate at approximately 70 miles per hour I hit a bump going over a bridge and the front end of my truck started shaking violently and almost made me wreck I had to come to a complete stop before it would stop shaking

The front end suspension causes the entire front end to shake uncontrollably then travels to bed of the vehicle. It makes the vehicle difficult to control, and we have had to stop or slow to below 40 mph to gain control.

I have a ford f250 that now has the death wobble. [XXX] near ran me off the road. Very scary situation while driving.
