2019 FORD F-250 SD Complaints

I have experienced the death wobble several times over the last month. I went to the dealership and asked them to check the suspension (tie rods, shocks, etc) and they said nothing was wrong. From 40-70 mph, if I hit the smallest bump or uneven spot in the road, the entire front end shakes so bad I can hardly stay on the road.

Severe steering wheel oscillation and front end shake after crossing over bridge expansion joints or rough road surface at speeds of 50 to 70 mph. This occurred on highway and caused the truck to begin to drift into adjacent lane. Unable to quickly reduce speed because of semi truck and additional vehicles immediately behind my vehicle -- shaking stopped after reducing speed to approximately 40-45mph. Truck was taken to dealer and track bar was replaced, however problem has not been resolved and reoccurred on the first trip back on the highway. Truck is currently schedule to be serviced again by dealer.

While driving on the highway my vehicle starts shaking very bad, this has happened a few times now.

I first noticed the extreme wobble going 65 mph on the highway. I almost lost control of the truck due to the extreme wobbling sensation after hitting a small bump. I have driven over the same bump in other vehicles with no issue whatsoever. I am now noticing that the problem is getting worse happening at speeds as low as 25 mph traveling on regular streets. I scheduled an appointment at the dealer to have this issue addressed they can’t get me in for almost 3 weeks. This could be a extremely dangerous issue that should have been addressed from the manufacturer. The whole truck shakes and the steering wheel violently moves left and right on its own.

The truck started shaking extremely bad when driving on the highway. It was very violent and pull me of the road. Lost some of the trim of the bottom of the wheel wells. Scratch up from the tall grass.

My 2019 Ford has done the "death wobble" as its known 3 times in the last month. It shakes so violently when you go over a bump in the road that you must immediately pull off the road and the cars behind you must swerve to miss you because you have to stop and pull over to make it stop. The last time it did it on 9/10/2021 my arms literally hurt from the the terrible shaking. Another time on 9/7/2021 I had my 2 grandchildren with me and they started to cry because they thought we were in some sort of accident. I have 52,000 miles on it and am afraid to drive it.

Death wobble. Driving at speeds over 50 mph and hitting a bump the truck has now 3 times gone into the death wobble. Truck/steering wheel starts violently shacking and does not stop until the truck comes to a complete stop. Last date occurred is listed below.

Hi on September 06, 2021 at around 10:00am i was driving west on Freeway 10, I was with my family (wife and two kids 5 and 2 year old) on the carpool lane of a very busy freeway in San Gabriel valley. And when my truck started going over 60 mph it started violently shaking. My family and me held tight to the truck, I held on to the steering wheel as hard as I could while I slowly decreased the speed. I was able to bring the speed down to 30mph but the shaking would not stop. I slowly merged across the lanes and came a complete stop on the side of the freeway. I got out of the truck and inspected the outside to see if anything visible broke. After I checked the outside and got back and checked the screen but no messages were given for any sort of malfunction. i tried driving the truck again but at low speed 50mph and the issue did not occurred again, I'm afraid to drive 65 to 70 mph on this truck again and my wife was terrified, saying she could of not imagine what would of happened if she was the one driving at the time of the incident. on September 7, 2021 i took my truck for inspection at Bob Wondries Ford located at 400 S. Atlantic Blvd, Alhambra CA 91801 (626-246-3591), they should have a report for me in about two days.

While driving down the interstate, traveling at 65 MPH, after traversing a moderate bump in the road, the steering wheel started violently shaking. The only way to get the shaking to stop was to slow down to 40 MPH, 25 MPH below the posted speed limit. The inability to control the vehicle and the unsafe requirement to slow on a busy highway is a serious safety concern. This situation is wide lol y known as the Death Wobble.

DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT ABOUT 45-55 MPH HIT A BUMP OR COUPLE BUMPS AND THE STEERING WHEEL BEGAN TO SHAKE VIOLENTLY TO THE WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN LOSS OF CONTROL. USING THE SHOULDER ON THE ROAD WAS ABLE IMMEDITALY SLOW DOWN AND STOP. THE INTENSITY OF THE SHAKE WAS AS THOUGH THE TRUCK WAS ABOUT TO EXPLODE. SHOCKING. THE DEALER DID PERFROM A STEERING LINKAGE REPLACEMENT UNDER WARRANTY TODAY 09-03-2021
