Subject: Urgent Safety Concern Regarding Rocker Arm Failure on My Truck I am writing to formally express my concern regarding a critical issue with the rocker arms on my 2019 Ford F250 6.7L Diesel which has caused significant safety concerns. I believe that the failure of these parts poses a serious risk to both the driver and others on the road. Recently, I experienced a failure of the rocker arms while driving. This unexpected breakdown caused engine misfire, loss of power, and unusual noise and severely impacted the performance of the vehicle. It is concerning that such a vital component could fail under normal driving conditions, compromising the engine’s functionality and potentially causing complete engine failure. The failure of the rocker arms is not only costly in terms of repair but also represents a significant safety hazard. Should the issue worsen while driving, it could lead to sudden loss of power, stalling, or even damage to other critical engine components, putting the driver at risk of an accident. This danger is exacerbated if the failure occurs while driving at high speeds or in hazardous conditions. Passenger Door latch not functioning properly resulting in the door opening while driving. It only latches closed if the door is being manually held and the key fob lock button is pressed. If the unlock button is inadvertently pushed the door will open while driving

Speed wobble is pulling the vehicle into on coming traffic. Issue has been diagnosed by the ford dealership as bad tires in the past. Replaced tires and 20,000 miles later the problem comes back.

After hitting a small bump on the highway my steering violently vibrated and i had to pull to the side of the interstate over a bridge because I though I had a tire blow out. I almost got rear-ended due to slowing down form 70mph to a safe enough speed to pull over. After inspecting the tires I couldn't see anything wrong. The drove fine until i hit a similar bump on the way back. Once the vibration starts, it's extremely hard to maintain control of the vehicle. 2019 Ford F250 17,000 miles

when driving at speeds over 50mph and hit a slight bump or imperfection in the road the front end shakes violently and almost shakes the steering wheel out of your hands with no warning. this incident happened 10 time on a recent road trip. Internet search found this is a common problem with this model vehicle and it's called a Death Wobble. I don't understand why Ford hasn't issued a recall for this issue. Calling the dealership to inquire about fixing this problem.

The contact owns 2019 Ford F-250. The contact stated while the vehicle was at the dealer for routine maintenance, the dealer informed the contact that the heat shield had detached. The dealer determined that the driveshaft and the heat shield needed to be replaced. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V087000(Structure, Power Train); however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 105,000.

Safety Risk: The excessive tire wear, combined with the loss of steering control due to the wobble, significantly increased the risk of a blowout or loss of traction. At highway speeds, this made it difficult to control the vehicle, posing a serious risk to myself and others on the road. Problem Reproduced/Confirmed: Yes, the problem, including excessive tire wear and steering instability, was reproduced and confirmed by a Ford dealership service center during their inspection. Vehicle/Component Inspection: The vehicle was inspected by the Ford dealership, where they identified the steering and suspension issues that contributed to the wobble and tire wear. No other entities, such as insurance or police, have inspected the vehicle since no accidents occurred. Warning Lamps/Symptoms: There were no warning lamps or messages before the failure. However, prior to the issue, symptoms included rapid and uneven tire wear, increased steering vibrations, and vehicle instability, particularly after hitting bumps or potholes.

The air conditioner compressor locked up (internal failure) which caused the engine v-belt to fail and resulted in the loss of power steering.

I was driving on the highway at 60mph, I went over an uneven area on a highway bridge when my truck’s steering started to shake uncontrollably, I had both hands on the steering wheel and still started to swerve into the passing lane, I finally got it under control and was looking for an area to pull over as I wasn’t sure if I had a flat or not, the shaking finally stopped, I put my hazard lights on and slowly kept going , after a few miles it seemed ok. I went directly to my Ford dealer who said they have had problems with F250 Stabilizer bars and made an appointment to have it looked at
