    The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-350. The contact stated that while reversing, the back over prevention camera system failed to function as intended. The contact stated that the back over prevention camera system displayed a black screen. The contact turned the back over prevention camera off and proceeded to reverse, and the back over camera system independently reset. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the contact was informed that parts were not available. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V270000 (Back Over Prevention); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 218,500. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

    Odometer Fraud. The contact’s son owns a 2015 Ford F-350. The contact’s son purchased the 2015 Ford F-350; however, while attempting to sell the vehicle, it was discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy. The vehicle was a private dealer sale. At the time of purchase, the vehicle mileage was 127,000 and at the time of attempted sale, it was discovered that the mileage was 389,000.

    Odometer Fraud. The contact filed the complaint on behalf of his son. The contact purchased the 2015 Ford F-350 from the dealer on June 14, 2024. The contact stated when the vehicle was purchased from the dealer, the odometer and the odometer disclosure form indicated the mileage was 127,656. The contact stated that the Carfax report indicated that on February 27, 2023, the vehicle was serviced, and the odometer mileage reported at the time was 389,490. In addition, the Carfax report indicated that on April 25, 2024, the vehicle was serviced, and the odometer mileage reported at the time was 96,901. The dealer was made aware of the issue. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue.

    The back up camera on my F350 froze the image on the screen as I was backing up, and I didn’t realize that I had backed into my daughter’s car. I ripped my fender off and wedged my tires up underneath her CRV there was no warning and I didn’t realize there was a recall on it because I hadn’t gotten anything in the mail. I did it my own driveway so I didn’t call the police and I haven’t turned on insurance yet. I wanted to see what I needed to do

    The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-350. The contact stated that the front passenger’s seat warmer was overheating and emitting a burning odor and smoke. The contact pulled over and noticed that the smoke was coming from underneath the seat, and the wires were burning and had started melting. The contact arrived at the residence, and her spouse disconnected the wires underneath the seat. The seat belt warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the main information center failed to immediately activate certain electrical systems intermittently. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and confirmed there was no recall on the VIN. The manufacturer opened a case. The manufacturer referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 115,000.

    Severe death wobble with speeds over 50. Steering to left at that speed and vehicle shakes severely. Going interstate speed, vehicle almost comes off pavement and shakes all over. Brought in numerous times for issue and never rectified.

    The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-350. The contact stated that upon inspecting the oil level, the dipstick had fractured in half. In addition, the contact stated that the dipstick was rusted. The vehicle was not repaired. The local dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 93,000.

    The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-350. The contact stated that while driving 55 MPH, the vehicle drove over a bump in the roadway and started losing motive power. There was no warning light illuminated. Despite the failure, the contact was able to drive at a reduced speed back to the residence. Upon inspection, the contact discovered that the intercooler hose had cracked, causing the vehicle to lose motive power. The contact replaced the intercooler hoses and the MAP sensor. Upon investigation, the contact stated that the failure was a known issue. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was repaired however, the contact stated that the turbocharger failed to operate as needed. The failure mileage was approximately 120,000.

    The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-350. The contact stated after a visual inspection of the engine compartment, he observed that the engine block heater core wire assembly was melted. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to Safety Recall 18S45. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was 120,000.
