The contact owns a 2026 Forest River Campsite Reserve. The contact stated that while the camper was hitched to a vehicle and being hauled, the refrigerator detached from the wall and fell forward. The contact stated that the cabinet trim, the floor in front of the refrigerator, and the cabinet were damaged. The camper was taken to the dealer where it was determined that there was not enough bolts used to secure the refrigerator. The contact was informed that the bolts were replaced according to the manufacturer's design. The RV was repaired. The contact was informed that more bolts were needed to secure the refrigerator to the wall. The contact stated that the failure was a known failure with similar RVs. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure.

Additionally, the bedroom reading light had a cracked solder joint. Upon inspection, the contact discovered that the battery cables were exposed and unprotected around the metal frame of the trailer. The trailer was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 200.
