Our propane tank got detached. Very dangerous. Posted on our Georgetown Facebook page and someone told me this is a known issue and I should report it.

Two owners of Forest River Georgetown Class A motorhomes, one a 2020 model year and one a 2022 model year, reported on a forum that one of the two brackets holding their 24.5 gallon water capacity ASME propane tank in place had its tack welds break, allowing one end of the tank to drop so far it was visible by passing cars. Both reported they were flagged down by people passing them. (The end of the propane tank likely was bouncing up and down on the remaining bracket.) Both used a strap to hold the tank in place until the bracket could be re-welded. Both reported that the repair shop then installed two bolts through the front and rear bracket to help hold the tank in place if the welds broke again. Neither owner took a picture of the propane tank hanging down so the attached pictures show their brackets after the repair. 24.5 gallons water capacity is about 19.6 actual gallons of propane at 80%. On my motorhome a visual inspection of the affected brackets did not reveal cracked welds but did show that the front bracket on the propane tank itself was installed slightly off and the inner edge of the front tank bracket is against a welded corner of the bracket instead of flat against the front frame bracket. Light is visible in the gap between the tank mounting bracket and the frame mounting bracket. If other tanks are like this it could mean that the upward pressure from tightening the inner tank mounting bolt applied stress to the welded bracket where there should not have been any. (The approximate date of those two failures is unknown however the 2022 model year owner reported they had the repair covered under warranty. I thus selected today's date because the form field has a date as mandatory.) (I had to select Aftermarket Equipment as BAL OTHER because "OTHER" was not allowed. I do not know who installs the propane tank mounting structure. It could either be the final vehicle manufacturer or the third-party upfitter they use for similar work.)

The Castle Rock spare tire failed while on the rim mounted to spare tire holder. Tire was covered 24/7. Size st 205/75r14 Failure was in belts on tread. Large bubble on inside of tire under treads with outside of tire deformed. Pictures available Tire was never used. Air pressure checked with other tires before usage.

All four locations on my vehicle have FAILED Maryland State Inspection because the weld point between the axle and the mounting bracket have BROKEN. There is no justification for Dexter Axle to sell products with such potentially serious manufacturing defects.

Castle Rock ST225/75R15 as originally equipped on 2020 Wolf Pup travel trailer. Approximately 4000-5000 miles total on tire. Properly inflated and visually inspected prior to trip. Load estimated at 70% of rating. Tire explosively failed without warning at highway speed. Second tire same brand/model/age/conditions failed in similar circumstance approximately 45 miles later. Wheels destroyed, trailer damaged. Debris showered onto roadway putting others at risk. Control of vehicle and trailer also became a risk to self and others on road. Continued safety risk as I was forced to change tire on side of interstate. Remnant of tires available for inspection on request.

The contact owns a 2021 Prime Time Avenger. The contact stated that after he inspected the RV, he noticed the quick disconnect fittings had two fractures. The contact made a local dealer aware of the failure; however, the RV had not been taken to be diagnosed or repaired. The contact was made aware that the VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V243000 (Equipment). The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and confirmed that the VIN was not included in the recall. The VIN was not available.

Power Front Sun/Privacy Shade completely unrolled while driving on a 4-lane interstate going approximately 65 mph, completely blinding the driver from seeing the road, with truck traffic constantantly passing me. Unable to see where I was going at 65 mpg. Took the motorhome to the dealer. Manufacturer was notified. There was no warning prior to the shade unrolling while the vehicle was moving.

I bought my camper new in 2019 at Keystone RV, Pennsylvania, and last year on 8/7/2022 I had one of my tires blow up on the way home from a camping trip. Even though I have never seen a tire look like the one that blew, at that time I simply went ahead and had the tire replaced at the dealer I bought the camper at. All other tires looked still O.K. at the time the road side assistance person put the spare on and when the new tire was installed later. Since this was already at the end of the season I winterized and stored the camper. However, this year as I wanted to de-winterize my camper I noticed that the remaining 4 original tires (including the spare) have severely deteriorated to the point where I can see the metal braiding. If any of the tires would have looked like this I definitely would have noticed it at the time I stored the camper.

Tire completely separated while just sitting on my RV pad. Came completely apart. I do keep them properly inflated per the placard on my RV. ST205 / 75 R14.
