I was driving and my nephew says there was smoke in the truck then all of a sudden there was a huge pop and my rear passenger window shattered! I had found online that this has happened to several people but there is no recall in the US. Something to do with the remote start putting on the defrost and the connection exploding. If this is happening a lot i believe it should be replaced.

The brake pedal gets hard to push down when slowing down and especially when backing up slowly. After looking into some things I'm pretty sure the problem is with the vacuum pump.

On 9/22/2020 a recall service was performed on my defroster/ power sliding rear window under N192265660. On 1/13/2022 I was driving down the road with the rear defroster on, a smell of burning plastic and a low hissing noise. I was in the process of pulling over to inspect this and the back window of my pickup burst, sending me swerving onto the side of the road. I booked an appointment with the dealer, they are telling me they cannot replace this since the recall was already serviced. Obviously the fix GM is putting into our vehicles is as dangerous as the original design. This needs to be remedied and GM needs to be held accountable, bursting rear windows can cause terrible accidents, luckily I am safe.

at first my brakes began locking up on the vehicle, almost as if they were pumped full and not able to press down any longer, shortly after that the stabilitrack light came on and white smoke began to come out of the exhaust as well as a slight shake in the engine, i immediately turned the vehicle off and parked it, mind you i bought the vehicle 1 day ago and it is already broke down, the issue is with gmc and these sensors they are using they are faulty engine reduces speed and it is not safe to say the least.not only that but had the exact same problems with my Gmc Acadia which i finally got the light to stop going off after replacing transmission, brake pedal position censor, as well as gas pedal position censor, also had the throttle body replaced, Do you all make products that are worth anything, nothing was ever done about the Acadia, the Gmc sierra is a 2015 with 70,000 miles on it this car should not be acting like this please contact me at [XXX] thank you so much for your time, also there are 14 recalls on this year truck yet mine shows that there are 0 recalls to be fixed I am wondering about this as well. GM issued a recall notice on July 1, 2021, regarding the rear curtain airbags in my Sierra. To this date (12/27/21), they have still not provided an ETA for getting this remedied. I called the dealership in September, to which they stated it would be another month before they could address it. I am wanting to be proactive to get this issue remedied, but the delay is unacceptable. I am escalating this to get some traction.

The component that malfunctioned is the vehicle braking system at slow speeds. I first experienced the problem at a restaurant drive thru line. After several stops as the line advanced, the braking system failed (extremely hard pedal) and car kept advancing and if someone would have been directly in front of me ( at a normal distance for a drive thru ) I would have made contact with them at a slow speed. I checked with my dealer the next day and they said that there were no reported problems for this issue on my vehicle. No warning lamps or messages present but it seems to me to be similar to the recall ( N192268490 ) as it only happens at slow speed with repeated application of the brake. There were no symptoms of the problem prior to this incident and it took me completely by surprise. I took the vehicle in to a service facility and they test drove it and said that they did not recreate the failure but I believe that they didn't try repeated braking at slow speed as I requested. I feel that there is a problem and that it only shows up during the aforementioned driving conditions. I have checked your website and the manufacturers and my truck VIN doesn't show up for their computer reprogramming recall but think that maybe it should.

My back window just made a loud pop sound. I have a back window that had an electic sliding widow. Which means the back window is in 3 sections (driver side, middle sliding window, and passenger side). The driver side of the back window was completely shattered. It's hard to see from the outside but from the inside it is spider cracked everywhere. I believe that I had my rear defrost on at the same time. Nothing hit my window to cause this.
