While operation my 2015 GMC 1500 DENALI Pickup at normal conditions my vehicle produced a engine light. I was three blocks from my office so I proceeded there immediately to have my vehicle scanned for codes. This is where I found out that cylinder #7 had an issue. This cylinder is part of the AFM system. I had the vehicle towed to Galles Chevrolet for diagnostic services and an estimate for repairs. Up receiving the results (which) I will attach. Bank 1 and possibly Bank 2 lifters and springs have failed. Thus possibly cause damage to the cam shaft. While I am aware that my vehicle is out of powertrain warranty (5 years / 100,000 mile), my vehicle only has 52,000 miles on it and very very well taken care of at all times. I am also aware of a class action law suite that pertained to the same exact issue on gm products from 2004-2014. Also service bulletins were produced by GM pertaining to this issue. Now I have been out of service of my vehicle for 3 1/2 weeks not to mention a potential $7000 repair, that should have never been in the picture! Poor quality control on products for potential profit gains have cost many many customers pain, anguish, and money.

Incident: 1)Driving on highway and truck completely loses power and electrical notification come on. Have limited power and electrical notification stayed on continually. Had to take in for repair. This happened May of 2018. 2)While driving on highway, used signal to change lanes and lost engine power. Had some electrical flickers and steering issue. Multiple times in last 6 months, sporadic. 3)When signaling and turning steering wheel, lost engine power. Also had problems with electrical/computer issues. Multiple times in last 6 months, sporadic 4)When slowing down, signaling, and turning steering wheel, after turn completed and start accelerating, transmission seem to be missing. This issue is sporadic and has been doing this since I have had the vehicle new. All these incidents have happened sporadically, with not pre-warning indicators and when having the truck check on the computer, with the exception of (#1) showed no issues.

Power steering has went out multiple times when turning in parking lots. Without power steering its very hard to navigate the truck especially when you don't expect it to go out. No warning lights came on and power steering goes back to working fine after these episodes

The first issue is popping coming from the front end of the vehicle causing a steering issue. This has been "repaired" multiple times with no resolution. Every time the popping occurs which is almost every turn the steering wheel will not turn. The next issue is the radio is causing driver distraction by changing stations and screens not just on the display itself but the instrument cluster as well. The radio has been replaced once due to the fact it was on backorder for 6 months another attempt has not been made. The third issue is the brakes have failed at slow speeds no warning lights were on, they just stopped working in the Mcdonald's drive-through. I had to get out of line to keep from rear-ending the person in front of me. Now, after that experience, the ABS light has come on and the service StabiliTrak flashes on the dash as well as parking assist off, everytime I hit the brakes. .

Curtain air bags deployed after loosing traction a bit in the highway also causing seat belts to get locked. Acceleration pedal will get stuck at times. Needed to push brake pedal half ways or more for brakes to kick in. GM brake recall seems to have fixed that. A/C condenser and compressor continue to fail.

My GMC Sierra has the RRAB recall. Vin has already been provided. I asked GMC in a chat (all recorded) if the truck is safe to drive. I explained that I am a disabled veteran. I have numerous issues but one has to do with not having full use of my right hand. I drive with my left and support with my right. I asked them if they though I could safely drive the vehicle knowing that information and they refused to answer uttering that parts are not available and be reassured that when they become available they will call. That truck is my only source of transportation. I need that vehicle to get me to chemotherapy sessions, yes I have cancer too!!! I need to know if the vehicle is safe to drive and if not, what is GMC going to do to fix this issue. I'm sure parts must be available but I doubt that disabled veterans or Joe public are not he priority list. I just want it fixed. I don't want song and dances, I've heard enough of that in the military and working for the military. I just need it fixed. Is your agency going to step up to the plate and tell them that these vehicles are not safe to drive? I bought a GMC for its reliability and their follow through, GMC clearly doesn't have my 6. Will the NHTSA have my 6 or is this just another shafting of a veteran?
