I am the owner of a 2024 GMC Yukon (VIN: [XXX] ), purchased from Hatchett Buick GMC on [XXX]. This vehicle was purchased at a high price with the expectation that it would provide reliability and keep my family safe. Unfortunately, that is clearly not happening. The Yukon continues to suffer from severe power loss that neither the dealership nor GM technicians have been able to diagnose or repair. In addition, this vehicle is subject to an unresolved engine recall, further undermining safety and confidence in the vehicle. Multiple times while driving I have had total power loss with no warning or indicators of this happening through lights or warnings on the vehicle. This is separate from the engine recall issues I am currently experiencing as well. While driving the Yukon will lose all electrical power. The vehicle is still currently at the dealership trying to be diagnosed. It has been 2 weeks. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

I have had several time that going down the highway at around 70 MPH with the cruise control on. Know other cars or trucks around me, my car loses power, put on the brakes. If I press on the gas petal, the car will accelerate. Never a warning, scares the heck out of you. Fortunately when this happens I have never had a car or truck behind me. If there would be a car or truck behind me, this could cause a collision for sure. No warning lights comes on. I've told the GMC dealer twice about this. Twice I was told to make another service appointment to bring my Yukon back. I was told that no service tech was available to look at this at this time.

I HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE NAVIGATION SYSTEM WHERE THE SCREEN GOES BLANK. THE RADIO IS NOT RESPONDING AND SCREEN IS BLACK. WHEN TURNING ON THE SIGNAL LIGHT YOU CAN'T HEAR IT. THE SPEED LIMIT IN MY TOWN IS 25 AND AFTER AN UPDATE FROM THE DEALERSHIP IT NOW SAYS 55. I GET AN ALERT SAYING FRONTAL CRASH NOT AVAILABLE ATLEAST ONCE A MONTH. THERE ARE TIMES WHEN WE ARE DRIVING AND WE GET THE RED ALERT AS TO DETECTING AN OBJECT AND THERE IS NOTHING THERE. PARKING ASSITS DOES NOT WORK ALL THE TIME.

While super cruise was engaged the car changed lanes automatically without any action on my part. The problem is I had set the automatic lane change feature to only activate when the turn signal was switched. While examining the vehicle settings I discovered that the feature was set to automatic not turn signal activated. What cause the software to change this setting? The service tech could not find any problem but guessed that when the software is updated it goes to a default setting. This is wrong. Setting should not change. The setting also changed on opening the tail gate with my foot. This setting was turned off.

I am the owner of a 2024 GMC Yukon Denali/AT4-T1, currently subject to GM Program #N252494000 for the L87 Engine Loss of Propulsion engine defect that can cause sudden engine failure, loss of power, and safety hazards. My vehicle has approximately 18,000 miles and is my primary mode of transportation. GM has informed me that I cannot request an immediate inspection and that they are randomly selecting affected vehicles for inspection without a clear timetable. This means I must continue driving a vehicle with a known safety defect that could fail at any moment — creating an unreasonable risk for myself, my passengers, and others on the road. My dealership has confirmed they cannot perform the inspection until GM activates my VIN in their system. No estimated timeframe has been provided. Given the severity of the defect and the potential for catastrophic failure without warning, I respectfully request that NHTSA investigate GM’s phased approach to inspections and determine whether this practice is consistent with the safety obligations under 49 U.S.C. Chapter 301 and related regulations. I also request guidance on how I can have my vehicle inspected immediately to mitigate risk. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
