Transmission 10l80 stuck solenoid truck has hesitation delayed shifting. And will not shift after certain gears.

Driving at 35 mph in traffic and the RPMs started to increase to 3500rpm and vehicle started to slow down inevitably putting me into Reduced Acceleration..limp mode. Truck would not shift into Reverse either once I could safely merge out of traffic and put into park. Very very dangerous and scary situation.

While driving my Yukon it felt like there was an issue while it was trying to shift gears. the vehicle would sort of jerk while it was shifting. there also began to have a knocking sound as I drove. I had my children in the car, making this a more stressful situation. Having issues while driving on a highway with other vehicles driving at high speeds. Your vehicle having issues accelerating onto said highway as well. This all happened with only 68,445 miles on the vehicle. I called to schedule an appointment, drove it into the GM dealership. They stated that the lifters needed to be replaced and it would not be covered. As well as a rental vehicle not being covered, so both items came out of pocket. As I drove home from the dealership after they assured me everything was great, the engine light came on. Brought it back into the dealership to fixed again! This time it was the catalyst converter. This issue was covered by warranty somehow even though they stated it was tied together.

Upper radiator hose attachment is leaking due to faulty rubber gasket. This comes up across GMC Canyon groups on Facebook 10 times a day. It is happening to ALL of them mainly pre 2025 on 3rd gens. Part is on back order at all GMC dealers due to so much volume of issue. Happening as early as 10k-20k miles on brand new trucks causing over heating issues due to coolant leaking out. Hopefully a recall for the part is done before engines start blowing.

Started getting a warning indication when starting the vehicle that stated some portion of driver assist was not functioning (or some verbiage close to that). We didn't notice any difference in the operation of the vehicle and took it to a service shop after about a week. They did some testing and discovered the problem. I am not mechanical at all but they said there were several technical bulletins from the manufacturer that led them to the problem - a bent pin on one of the rocker arms. I am going to upload the technical bulletins (3) they provided me as well as the invoice (3 pages).

Brand new engine blew up while driving. It had 2,000 miles on it. It has been replaced but am worried it will happen again

I have the L87- 6.2 V8 and my crankshaft bearings burned up at highway speeds and the truck shut down. The is a massive recall on this engine for this reason but does not include the 2019 model and it most definitely should. The issue started in 2019 (not 2021).

There are widespread reports of the O ring seals on the radiator and heater hoses failing and causing coolant leaks. These leaks are significant enough to render the vehicle inoperable and with no cabin heating or cooling. This could lead to life-threatening situations in adverse weather conditions. It could also create dangerous roadside failure situation in heavy traffic, particularly on interstate highways. Dealers are aware of the issue and are currently repairing vehicles under warranty. However some dealers are telling owners that the cooling system is not part of the engine and drivetrain, and therefor is not covered under the original factory warranty if the vehicle has exceeded the initial bumper to bumper warranty limits. Dealers are also telling owners that parts are on backorder due to high demand, and that repair wait times could take weeks. The vehicle is unsafe to operate with a known coolant leak. There is a hesitation when trying to accelerate. The car will then slam forward and there is a rattling noise that the car also makes. This has almost caused accidents. I was driving in town which is where I do most of my driving.

Vehicle wouldn’t unlock/start with primary key fob or secondary key fob. Tried manual entry with both key fobs still could not enter.
