Ever since I purchased it, I have been plagued by constant alerts regarding various vehicle failures. ?My vehicle has already been reset and updated twice to address these issues. I just picked it up after it was supposedly fixed at the dealership this past Thursday. Truck has the 6.2 Litre engine,failed.GM won't do anything to fix or replace the engine.

This engine has used more than 2 quarts of oil since purchased in November of 2025. It has 12,000 miles on it. The exhaust pipes are covered in black soot from oil burn. It scares me to drive it, $87,000 retail vehicle worth about nothing with a bad engine. Terrible

August 5th, 2026, I was driving South on I-55 between Hammond and Ponchatoula at 70 mph when the top grill trim (Bezel) flew off, hit (and cracked) the windshield, and landed somewhere behind my traveling vehicle.

I got the vehicle with 60,000 miles 8,000 miles in vehicle gave me problems gave me a check engine light code p0300 then took it to get inspected then was told it was the fly wheel then it’s started knocking vehicle is currently not being droven because of the fly wheel

The brake suddenly became impossible to depress more than 3/4 of an inch. Almost unable to stop nearly hitting another vehicle. The dashboard then lit up with a "service brake system" warning. Luckily was only a few minutes from home brought it home and began the search for the issue. The brake vacuum pump failed. Unsure of further damage at this point. It being Sunday am unable to contact a shop or dealer.

Received a power steering reduced notice when starting the car, noticed shortly after driving the temperature gauge had not moved from its resting position. A few trips later it still had not moved and the check engine light came on. Mechanic looked at it said it may be a sensor quoted $1k to fix. A few days later it randomly started working and the light went off so I did not have it fixed. About 4 months later the same code displayed on the dash with the same issues. This time I noticed the ac would not work either it only blew out hot air. Also the fan under the hood turns on as soon as the car is started. Been about 3 days and it started working again out of nowhere.

I, [XXX], am currently getting my engine replaced for the 1st time because of An engine failure. Engine completely shut down in the mountains while I had my 3 young kids ([XXX], [XXX] & [XXX] old) on our way to our vacation. 102 degrees outside no ac, no water for 4 hours until a tow truck finally came. The kids were scared for their life due to being on the side on the road, hungry with nothing to do but wait. Literally had just enough clearance to get on the side of road where vehicles drive-55-65 mph. Avenal, Ca to be exact. What’s the best way to get my money back? I do not want to continue to deal with these problems on the road with my little ones. The dealership is currently looking to replace my engine and waiting on parts. Vehicle loss of power on the Interstate at a high rate of speed. Vehicle would not start and could not be put in Neutral to safely remove from road.

Was driving the vehicle at 70 mph on the highway without any issues for several hours and suddenly the vehicle lost power and had no propulsion. It went into neutral automatically and the engine shut off while driving. Thankfully I was on a downward slope and could steer the vehicle off the very busy highway. Once safe, I tried to restart the car but the engine would not start or turn over. Roadside assistance came to help as well as a flatbed tow truck. It was taken to a nearby GMC dealer but it remains completely dead despite the battery being fully charged and all of the electronics working. No known error codes are showing up. It’s an L87 engine and was part of the GM recall. The recall work was completed in Nov 2025.
