The contact owns a 2022 GMC Sierra 1500. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the radio and other electrical systems failed to function as intended. The contact pulled over to the side of the road and turned off the vehicle. After several minutes, the contact restarted the vehicle and the radio and other electrical systems failed to engage. The contact was unsure if any warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that on a separate occasion, while driving at various speeds, the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. Upon further investigation, the contact became aware of a recall on the VIN. The contact parked the vehicle at the residence and no longer drove the vehicle. The contact asked the dealer to provide towing service to tow the vehicle and no response was provided. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 16,000.

My wife and I were traveling on a county road and without warning, the vehicle skipped twice and cut off in the middle of the roadway in a sharp curve with rain threatening at approximately 7:30 p.m. ET August 11, 2025. I attempted to restart numerous times because we were in the middle of the right lane. The starter would spin but vehicle would not restart. The truck then would not shut off and draining the battery. I called for a wrecker and the Sheriff's Office to keep somebody from hitting us. Before the wrecker came, we connected a diagnostic device to the vehicle indicating it was the fuel pump module.0August 12, 2-25, I called GM Roadside Assistance to be towed to closest dealership. The driver said he was familiar with a lot of GM trucks with the same issue. The vehicle has less than 12,000 miles and was purchased in June, 2024.

The contact owns a 2021 GMC Yukon. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was an abnormal sound coming from the vehicle. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was confirmed that the failure was the result of an unrepaired recall. The contact was informed that the parts were not yet available. The contact had received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V274000 (Engine and Engine Cooling); however, parts were not yet available. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 81,000.

Truck is starting to feel/act different. There is shaking at acceleration and deceleration. Idling is starting to fluctuate more at stop. Hoping to get this in for inspection. Dealer cannot do so with incomplete recall note on the vehicle.

My doors will no longer lock or unlock, using the key fob or the lock/unlock buttons in the vehicle. This is a widely known issue for GMC Trucks, once you search for it. At around 50K Miles, the door actuators just quit working. So, if I have kids in my truck, I can't unluck the doors to get them out unless I climb through the truck, and have to manually do same to lock the doors to drive with kids in the car. There isn't a key hole for the back doors, so this can't be done at all outside the car. The doors are supposed to automatically lock when the truck is put in gear. Mine won't lock even when I push the button to lock. I just had this confirmed at the dealer. I also spoke to GMC and was told that it wasn't their responsibility. This is a genuine safety issue, and happens on these trucks a LOT.

The truck started to vibrate or shudder . We are having to deal with replacing the transmission on our truck, which has only 45,000 miles on it. We have noticed numerous complaints about transmission problems with this model and the place that is replacing the transmission said they have had 3 customers in the last couple of months with the same issue on the same GMC model. This is a lot for our small town and area. Why hasn't GMC issued recalls ?

After a visual inspection, the contact observed that the engine was abnormally low on oil, though the vehicle had recently been serviced. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who did not provide a specific diagnosis but observed metal shavings inside the oil filter. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V274000 (Engine and Engine Cooling); the VIN was included but the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was 16,000.

While 2 hours from home driving down the interstate with a full vehicle, the vehicle alarmed and the screen notified "No Oil Pressure, Turn Car Off Now". I pulled over immediately and we had to sit on the edge of the interstate for 45 minutes - a safety hazard for us and the surrounding traffic. The vehicle was towed to the nearest GM dealer, where they assessed the vehicle and advised that this is a known issue for 2024 and 2025 GMC Acadias and Traverses. The vehicle failed to move oil and the engine was seized - a significant safety hazard. After a month, GM has informed us that zero replacement engines are available in the world and there is no timeline for replacement or repair and the vehicle is unusable.

The contact owns a 2021 GMC Yukon. The contact stated that while his wife was driving at an undisclosed speed, there was an abnormal ticking sound coming from the engine. There was no warning light illuminated. The following day, the contact's wife dropped the vehicle off at a dealer for a diagnostic test to be performed. Several days later, the contact was informed that the lower bearing in the crankshaft had failed, and the engine needed to be replaced. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V274000 (Engine and Engine Cooling); and linked the failure to the recall. The dealer and the manufacturer were notified of the recall, and the contact was informed that the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not repaired and remained with the dealer. The failure mileage was 124,296.

I just bought my truck a 2024 GMC 3500 and in a few weeks after purchase. I took my truck in for a break vibration. I took the truck back in to find it had bluing on the rotors and the break pads have holes in them. I was told this came from over heating. They said it was missed on the pre sale inspection they did. I looked up info to see if this was a common problem and found the in 2022 GM changed the material to help with noise problems and this material had been know of premature break problems. The dealership denied doing the work under warranty. I called GM customer service and they told me to work with the dealership, the dealership called the district manager and all parties have decided to ignore the issue. I also have 2 of these truck driven by 2 different people with the same problem at the same millage. I will make a 2nd report for the 2nd truck.
