Rear oil seal failed resulting in engine oil pressure loss and vehicle was stopped in middle of roadway

Michelin Premier LTX 235/55R20 Premature wear First set was replaced 12/11/2019 with 27,952 miles on vehicle. Complaint is the second set checked on 7/23/2023 with 49,122 miles on vehicle or 21,170 miles on tires showing premature wear measuring 6.1 to 5.9 /32nds groove depth. Tires are not going to make the 60,000 miles wear rating expected for such an expensive tire. Tires are rotated when vehicle is serviced, alignment was checked before installing new tires.

My family and I purchased this vehicle brand new in August 2021. We live in Phoenix Arizona and bought it from Earnhardt Buick & GMA in Mesa, AZ. While driving the vehicle in the last few weeks I personally could smell a strong odor of fumes in the cabin when the A/C or Heater were on. After a few days of noticing it my nose got numb to the odor as I dismissed it and kept driving the vehicle. After about a week, I had my two kids in the vehicle, they both noticed and made comments on how strong the odor of fumes were. We decided to not utilize the A/C or the Heater and contacted the dealer for investigation and repairs. This is a very serious health hazard as I and my family were exposed to exhaust fumes entering the cabin. For a few days and nights I suffered headaches and some dizziness as I was driving mostly the vehicle. We did take it to Earnhardt Buick & GMA in Mesa, AZ for investigation and repair. The maintenance supervisor confirmed that indeed somehow the exhaust had some crack that allowed fumes to enter the ventilation system. The Vehicle is now under repair at the dealership. I was notified by the maintenance advisor that this defect would not be cover under warranty as the vehicle is out of manufacture warranty. I Also had purchased an extended warranty (Platinum) which they had stated "bumper to bumper", but this also does not cover the manufactures defect. There were no warning lights associated with this problem. I would strongly recommend that inspections be made, especially if some drivers have problem with smell and odors. Was in a car accident in my Acadia. Someone hit me going 55 miles an hour on my front passenger side. My airbag never deployed and my seat belt did not lock causing me to fly around. I didn’t see a recall for either of those things

It's a known problem with gmc with a lawsuit for the PVC pipes clogging and blowing the main rear oil seal causing the vehicle to quit running

The contact owns a 2015 GMC Acadia. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V334000 (Air Bags) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was not contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The car has parking brake on unable to disable.Have to put in drive force the system to move. Same with reversing the car. Air bags not working. Seat belt restraint on when we are wearing them. Left turn signal failure. Steering limited caution sign on. ESC sign on. Engine light on. Transmission unable to shift soon light on. Traction lights on. ABS brake light on. Temp says -40 degree when 30 out. I’m finding this unsafe to drive. Call GMC that told me to start On Star diagnostic. Pull up at least 4 codes And today the transmission indicators came on. Not sure what to do. The car has low miles. But I have stopped driving as of today due to break down or serious malfunction while driving.

Leaking Diesel fuel, Leaking oil from the rear of the transfer case, making a claunking noise at the rear suspension, My safety is at risk for a possible fire and a crash from the Leaking oil. The vehicle was diagnosed with this problems on [XXX] at Caguas Chevrolet & GMC, also called United Collection Auto. parts were ordered on that date but not arrived.
