2017 GMC ACADIA- Stroudsburg, PA
The contact owns a 2017 GMC Acadia. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V334000 (Air Bags) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. An undisclosed dealer was contacted and confirmed that the part was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

2021 GMC YUKON- Missoula, MT
This GMC Yukon underwent an over the air update in remote Wyoming and was almost undriveable due to steering problems and brake malfunction. Also engine and transmission problems. It has been awaiting repair, but I have been informed that no fix is available because of transmission defect. No parts available We were nearly stranded.

I haven’t had a call back from the dealership it has been over a year since I’ve heard anything from them to get the recall fixed.

2011 GMC SIERRA 1500- Friedens, PA
The contact owns a 2011 GMC Sierra 1500. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the contact noticed a separation of the rear sub frame of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to be diagnosed by an independent mechanic. The contact was informed that the rear sub frame was extremely rusted. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to a dealer for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 112,000.

2014 GMC ACADIA- Mechanicsville , VA
There is a recall regarding the driver side airbag in this vehicle, and the manufacturer has failed to provide repair for this issue in a timely manner, knowing that the faulty airbag can result in death of not only the driver, but the passengers as well.

2016 GMC CANYON- Appomattox, VA
The contact owns a 2016 GMC Canyon. The contact stated while driving approximately 50 MPH, the steering failure message was displayed on the instrument panel. The contact stated that the steering wheel became difficult to turn in either direction. The contact pulled over and turned off and restarted the vehicle and the vehicle returned to normal functionality. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The approximate failure mileage was 150,000.

2012 GMC TERRAIN- Ellenwood, GA
I was driving while it was raining. The wipers stopped working. The driverside wiper jumped partially off the windshield. I had my mechanic inspect it. The fuses, relay, and wiper motor are operational. The bushing on the wiper transmission failed. I found the following recall. Special Coverage Adjustment N192266181 Wiper Transmission Arm Linkage Failure – USA Only Release Date: July 2022. However, my VIN does not have this as an applicable recall.
