2022 HONDA ACCORD Complaints

The infotainment system is ghosting. It changes and blanks out the screen randomly or when a phone call is received. It also will constantly beep when changing or shutting off the radio. This has been a known issue for Honda since 2017 and affects 2017-2023 Accords and Pilots. The dealer confirmed the issue through diagnostics but said Honda has no plans at this time to solve the problem. Also, the iPhone charger has never worked in the car and the Service Department at Serra Honda in O'Fallon, Illinois said there are no plans for Honda to fix the problem. These issues need to be corrected and the owners financially compensated for features that do not work and were sold to consumers knowingly by the manufacturer.

The infomatic system. It seems as if it has a mind of its own. It consistently randomly changes on its own. I have several videos of this happening. When this happens as its random its very distracting as it makes noises everytime it changes to a different screen. This also effects the GPS system. It randomly turns off and on. The navigation system is able to be used as its not reliable. I have tried to have 2 dealerships look at it but they need to take time to dedicate to finding a solution. They only turn the car on for a few min then off. They have copies of my videos. Yes the honda dealer made a very little attempt at looking at it. But stated Honda does not have reports of this problem. There is no warning when the problem happens.

Infotainment center constantly glitches! Ghost touches. No way to fix it. Had screen replaced 3 times by Honda. Safety hazard because my maps will go off road. Needs fixed ASAP!

The contact owns a 2022 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed and turning, the vehicle made an abnormal sound. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who determined that the EPS (Electric Power Steering) module had failed; however, the contact was informed that there was no repair available at the time. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 24,686.

Vehicle displayed numerous warning lights and messages like Emission system problem and other messages on the cluster gauge. Traveling on the interstate, the vehicle would not accelerate or maintain proper speed. Turned on the emergency flashers to warn other drivers to avoid an accident. Brought it to the dealership and found code P0087 Fuel Rail Pressure Too Low and informed me that the low pressure fuel pump is bad and needs to be replaced. The vehicle is out of warranty as it has ~85k miles.

The infotainment touchscreen/head unit in my 2022 Honda Accord Touring repeatedly registers random “ghost touches” without being touched. This defect primarily affects Apple CarPlay Maps, where the screen zooms, jumps, or changes routes on its own. On multiple occasions, it has caused me to miss turns and created distractions while driving, putting my safety and others at risk. The problem began around may 2025 and occurs frequently. There are no warning lamps or error codes. The dealer was informed but stated that there is no recall or service bulletin, and replacement would only be at the owner’s expense. This issue is widespread among Honda Accord owners, with many reporting identical ghost touch malfunctions online. Because the infotainment screen also controls navigation, climate, and audio functions, the defect interferes with essential driving controls and creates a significant safety hazard.

My touch screen glitches to the point where it changes stations, changes my navigation and it doesn’t fix itself at all even when I touch the screen. It’s a driving hazard especially when you are using the navigation. It just started and has been happening every time I’m driving, regardless if my phone is attached via Bluetooth or usb or not even at all now it just glitches.

It registers false inputs “ghost touches” without any user interaction. Yes, the vehicle and affected screen are available for inspection upon request. 2. The ghost touches cause the screen to randomly change menus, activate or deactivate features, and make it difficult to use navigation, audio, and android auto with maps. This creates distraction while driving, as I have to focus on regaining control of the screen instead of the road, putting myself and others at risk. 3. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? The issue has not yet been officially confirmed by a dealer or independent service center, but it is recurring and can be demonstrated on demand. 4. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives, or others? The infotainment system has not yet been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance, or others. 5. Were there any warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? No warning lamps or messages were displayed. The issue first appeared recently (8/2025) and has recurred intermittently since then.

The screen on my honda accord and hundreds if not thousands of other people that I have seen online, randomly begins constantly activating buttons on screen which has almost resulted in a car accident for me. Very danger and unacceptable, honda is aware of the issue and refused to fix it. This is going to get people killed if not fixed.

My dashboard is saying driver is sleepy? And my radio is changing to different modes by itself.
