2024 HONDA CR-V Complaints

Continuous problems with illegal entry into vehicle, I have "Blocked all Android Auto on my mobile phone" and changed Carrier service , but still illegal entry is being made by the Dealership Clonning my Fab Key tracking all movement and when I park and enter Markets or Department stores CRIMINALS continue to illegally make entry into my vehicle and spraying chemicals in my vehicles causing faint spells and stomach.irritation, this is the second Honda , my 2022 Honda CR-V and now my 2024 Honda CR-V. this is a ongoing problem with my second Honda CR-V. I strongly believe this is a Highway Safety issue and maybe the causing traffic accidents, I Believe that the problem is due to criminal activity and is happening to other Drivers Safety.

While driving on 3.5 hour trip through the mountains found that the steering wheel was stiff and the car difficult to control, especially on steep slopes with curves. Had to slow way down and grip the steering wheel with significant force. Felt like driving an old manual steering pick-up truck. The stiff steering has made driving in narrow lanes difficult as it feels like I am always having to over-correct the wandering.

Steering wheel on 2024 CRV hybrid was getting sticky and I noticed it while I was driving on the highway took it to dealer and dealer did say that the truck is unsafe to be driven steering rack needs to be replaced. There is no official recall, but part can take months to come in.

The driver side mirror is vibrating while driving at any speed, as well as serious mirror distortion. You don’t have to be moving to see the distortion, as no matter what angle it’s viewed at, it distorts the view. This is a serious safety issue while driving and needs to be addressed

Rear View mirror crashed without any outside impact. Car was in standing and rear view mirror cracked without no external reason in a new car just withing 30 days. Honda probably used low quality mirror or assembly was not proper.

I have had my 2024 CRV EX-L in a couple different dealerships to complain about the steering becoming very sticky after you drive for awhile. When this issue starts up, it makes it very difficult to make minor adjustments to stay in your own lane!! Some dealers say they haven't heard any other complaints, but I find that not to be true when it's all over social media and there are articles all over the internet as well about this same issue. I also have an Attorney looking into this as well at this point. This issue is very annoying and can become a safety concern if you are not always aware and paying attention when it starts to happen. This is definitely not the Honda quality that I have been used to in the past. I would like this addressed ASAP, this CRV only has 6,200 miles on it. Thank you.

I was driving about 25 mph halfway through an intersection with stop lights. The automatic emergency front braking system abruptly engaged and almost brought the car to a stop. I immediately applied the gas pedal to compensate for the braking and was able to keep the car from completely stopping. The car in front of me was about 5 car lengths ahead, moving at a similar pace, and the car behind me was about 4 car lengths away. Luckily, the car behind was able to keep from hitting me.

Driver side mirror. The mirror looks very distorted and shakes significantly when driving. The view from my driver side mirror looks worse at night, which is when I do most of my driving. Headlights from other cars affect the view from my driver side mirror and give off a terrible reflection. I have taken my vehicle to Honda dealer and they stated they did not notice any distorted images or shaking. I have had this vehicle for barely 2 weeks and have had no luck in finding the a solution.

The Adaptive Cruise Control causes the vehicle to brake when close to another vehicle when in different lanes of traffic on highway/freeway turns. The adaptive cruise does not appear to communicate with the lane departure system and thus doesn't realize other vehicles are in different lanes. This has occurred 3 times in the 2 weeks I have owned the vehicle. The Adaptive Cruise Control does not understand the vehicles are in different lanes causing it to brake for no reason when turning as the radar only points forward. Adaptive Cruise does NOT warn the driver that it is detecting a problem and/or reacting to a detection, it brakes very hard due to thinking the two vehicles are about to collide despite being in different lanes and thus a collision will not happen. Vehicle has not been inspected by dealership, manufacturer, police, or insurance.

Steering is sticky or not as fluid when moving between lanes/ from lane to lane. It started around 3K miles. Alignment was checked by the dealership but the steering issues remains.
