2021 INTERNATIONAL LT- Little Rock , AR
The brake assist malfunctioned causing the brakes to abruptly stop without cause or warning. When the braking system abruptly stopped it caused a jack knife and lost of a trailer on a congested highway with vehicles in all lanes, I was able to finally get control of the tractor with out causing contact or injury with other vehicles and the rear trailer broke free and rolled back and landed in the grass that divided the highways. I injured myself and had to have surgery. The tractor was taken to a shop 4 days after the accident. They found that the module for abs ec80 had blocked radar and data link faults for camera, radar & camera was not properly installed. Rush truck center told the company that they needed to drive tractor on a long drive to recreate issues, but the company denied to go forward and picked the tractor up.

2016 INTERNATIONAL LF687- fremont, WI
Minimizer sells a piece of plastic that bolts to the top of semi truck 5th wheel and under trailers. Minimizer claims this plastic is designed for frequent drop and hook applications. The plastic can't handle the huge forces between semi truck and trailer and is easily pushed off the 5th wheel leaving only the bolts sticking up out of the top of the 5th wheel. When this happens there is no grease between the trailer and 5th wheel plate, only the bolts sticking up and out of the top of the 5th wheel. As you can imagine the bolts dig into the underside of the trailer making steering a problem on the snow covered roadway. Minimizer Document #10005364 says to "continue to follow 5th wheel manufacturer's lubrication and maintenance recommendations for the locking mechanism and king pin." which requires grease and greasy parts to be in very close proximity to the plastic. The plastic cannot handle the grease, fact is, In the same document the Warranty excludes damage caused by exposure to chemicals such as grease. The plastic pushed off the truck in less then one week, which created a mechanical emergency. The truck and driver can't do anymore work until the nuts and bolts are removed from the 5th wheel plate and the 5th wheel is properly re-greased. The plastic cannot handle trailer drop and hook or be touched by grease.

Two 11r22.5 Tires were purchased 8/8/2022 from Gabe’s tire and towing llc in town creek, alabama. These tires are for my front steer axle. The problem is the installed two trailer tires for my steer tires. I’ve gone back several times and they want me to pay over $300 additional to go to a higher end tire even though they screwed up. This is the second set of tires now that this has happened with and they make me wait over a month to find out if I’m even going to get warranty money back since they make customer pay for a new tire then send the old one out to be inspected. Took truck to a different shop to be inspected because truck shakes violently and Gabe’s tires and towing llc would not correct the issue.
