2020 JAGUAR I-PACE- Boca Raton, FL
The air conditioning has failed, even after spending $8k to replace everything it still blows hot air intermittently. Also, there is a gearbox fault detection warning that has presented itself which i believe affects the cars ability to hold still at a stop. Nothing but problems with this car, and auto nation Ft. Lauderdale jaguar has no clue how to fix any of it although i have spent so much money. The car is like a lemon.

This is an urgent update to a safety complaint filed on May 28, 2026 regarding a 2020 Jaguar I-PACE (VIN: [XXX] ). Today, May 29, 2026, a Jaguar Corporate Executive Liaison officially issued a written denial of alternative safe transportation (Case #XXX). The manufacturer explicitly claimed in writing that the vehicle is "safe to drive" and that parking it outside is "entirely my decision," directly contradicting active NHTSA Campaign 26V067000 (H570) documentation. JLR federal filings state that the final physical remedy (H572) is still under development and that instructions to park outside away from structures remain actively in effect. The manufacturer is actively misrepresenting the safety metrics of an uncorrected high-voltage battery fire risk to consumers. Furthermore, because I reside at [XXX] —a high-density neighborhood heavily vulnerable to fire spread and directly adjacent to the active Palisades wildfire zone—complying with the "park outside away from structures" mandate while holding the car is a physical impossibility. JLR Corporate is actively denying necessary safety accommodations, exposing the consumer and public to severe fire liability. Jaguar Land Rover issued a safety mandate stating my vehicle is a spontaneous fire hazard and must be parked away from structures. However, JLR corporate is actively refusing to provide a safety loaner car or rental accommodation while forcing a weeks-long paperwork audit, leaving me with a known fire hazard in an active California fire zone

At 11:45 AM, a Waymo AV stopped in the middle northbound lane at the Kierland Commons/Scottsdale Quarter signaled pedestrian crosswalk. The stop signal was not on. Pedestrians were standing on the sidewalk waiting for the signal to turn so they could cross Scottsdale Road. I assume the Waymo AV saw the pedestrians standing on the sidewalk and decided to stop. I was directly behind the Waymo AV. Traffic was passing us in both lanes. The Waymo AV remained stopped until the pedestrian signal came on and did not move forward until after the signal turned off. Fortunately, vehicles behind me were paying attention and did not rear-end anybody. The main issue involves a Waymo AV coming to a stop when it sees pedestrians waiting to cross the street, rather than paying attention to the pedestrian signal light, which is a blinking red light over each lane when triggered by a pedestrian that turns solid red, allowing pedestrians to cross the street. I have provided this information to Waymo LLC and they have responded that they are looking into why this Waymo AV stopped when it should not have stopped.

On 5/18, I was reversing into a parking spot and my steering rack completely locked to the right, with no warning and while in motion, causing me to strike a parked vehicle. The car had to be towed and dealership mechanic said steering rack had an internal mechanical failure and needs replacement. After doing some research, I found forums of numerous people who have had this same issue. This is a known issue by Jaguar for this particular make model and year and they refuse to issue a recall. I had driven on the highway earlier that day and this could have caused a deadly accident had it happened at that time. This is a real safety hazzard for owners and others on the road.

2017 JAGUAR F-PACE- Stockton, CA
I brought my car used with warranty and everything was fine even though I barely drove the car because I had another car that I used to commute so I really didn’t drive the car often. Within a week I noticed a loud sound but I didn’t think anything of it because it was a diesel engine. Within a year I was on the freeway and my car just stopped in mid traffic which a semi diesel truck almost hit me due to engine failure. My car just stopped and my check engine light did not come on until this day. My car is still not running because I took to a repair shop and they said that my timing chain had alot of wear it it would cost 4000 to 5000 to fix. I notice that this is a common problem for the jaguar f pace.
