2020 JAGUAR I-PACE- Minneapolis, MN
I am filing a complaint regarding a 2020 Jaguar I-PACE with a documented history of repeated high-voltage battery and charging system failures. The vehicle has experienced multiple “traction battery fault” warnings, repeated inability to charge, and required replacement of high-voltage battery modules. Despite these repairs, the same issues have recurred. The vehicle has also had extended periods out of service, including repair durations exceeding 30 days. The vehicle is currently subject to active safety recalls (H570 and H572) involving high-voltage battery thermal risk, with no permanent remedy currently available. The manufacturer has imposed operational limitations, including charging restrictions. Due to the combination of repeated failures and the unresolved safety recall, the vehicle is unreliable, potentially unsafe, and cannot be reasonably sold or traded without significant financial loss. The manufacturer, Jaguar Land Rover, has declined to offer a repurchase or meaningful resolution despite being provided with full service history documenting the repeated failures. I am requesting review of this matter as a potential unresolved safety defect and failure of corrective action.

2018 JAGUAR F-PACE- AUBURN, GA
I am reporting a safety defect on a 2018 Jaguar F Pace involving the failure of factory-installed plastic engine components (specifically [mention parts, e.g., coolant crossover pipes/housing]). These components are prone to cracking and rupturing, which has resulted in multiple severe fluid leaks. Safety Risk: These leaks pose a significant fire hazard as fluids are dripping directly onto high-heat engine surfaces and exhaust components. Furthermore, a sudden failure of these plastic pieces while driving can lead to immediate engine overheating and a total loss of power (stalling), which places the driver and passengers at risk of a high-speed collision. My car started smoking in the middle of the highway. Manufacturer Knowledge: Jaguar Land Rover acknowledged the defect by redesigning these specific parts in 2022. However, they have failed to issue a safety recall for 2018 models equipped with the original, defective components. My vehicle currently requires over $4,000 in repairs to address the damage caused by these failing parts. This issue mirrors previous Jaguar fire-related recalls and suggests that the current recall scope is insufficient to protect the public.

2024 JAGUAR I-PACE- Austin, TX
During a heavy rain vehicle stalled out. Looked like it hit a bag of leaves at the drivers front wheel. Stuck in standing water blocking a lane. I was pulled over waiting out the rain and cars trying to get past the stalled Waymo were almost colliding with me and others. If a car can not function in heavy rain why are these on the roads.

2016 JAGUAR F-TYPE- LAKE FOREST, CA
Symptoms of failure was present prior to complete failure. At highway speed, vehicle sometimes resisted steering input. At 20-30mph, steering wanders side to side and fights my steering inputs. When complete failure occurred, steering became difficult at low speed, parking situations. No warning or error message on dash. Vehicle was towed to dealer where they determined the electric motor on the steering rack suffered an internal failure. When disconnected from power, the steering rack was smooth, albeit unassisted. When connected to power, the steering rack was stiff and difficult to turn. It was determined that the electric motor resisted steering input rather than assist. Steering racks used by a range of Jaguar Land Rover products in this period also suffered similar internal failures.

2017 JAGUAR F-PACE- Maumelle, AR
The front drivers side headlamp malfunctioned after condensation entered the lamp via rain and then humidity. The issue first started April 12, 2026. I was leaving to go on a 260 miles drive when I pulled out of the drive way and I started getting a flickering "Dipped Beam Fault". It started flickering on and off as I was picking up speed to merge onto the interstate. I drove all those miles with my left thumb on the Menu OK button to clear it. Then it would come back on again as I was going through two major cities. It was very distracting and I kept glancing down every time it would light up. It did this for 5 hours. Also, my signal light was malfunctioning but I always tried to use it even so because of the heavy traffic. I called Jaguar when I got home and the women on the line said she had never heard of anything like this before and to take it to the dealership. So I took it to Jaguar and they did a complete inspection and told me the entire light component would have to be replaced because the seal is not good-even though the car has less then 100,000 miles on it, no reported accidents, and I was not informed by the dealer it has this problem when I purchased a few months ago.

2023 JAGUAR XF- Pittsburgh , PA
While driving my vehicle on numerous occasions, I get the alert “Stop safely, electrical fault detected”. I have to pull over and rest my vehicle before driving again. If I continue to drive, the car shifts into neutral and loses power. This is very dangerous and it will stop anywhere while driving. I took it to the dealership in VA where I lived at the time in 2023. I was told there was no issue detected. I took it to the dealership in PA after I moved in 2024 and was told it could possibly be the alternator which was replaced. The error still occurs on and off since then. This began in November 2023, 3 months after buying the vehicle. The vehicle was new and I first started getting the alert at 3,000 miles. I am now at 16,000 miles. The problem is still occurring. It has recently got worse and quickly shifts into neutral without getting any warning, then I lose compete power. I was recently driving and my car shut down in the middle of the road with no warning at all. I was stuck on [XXX] . My car was towed to Jaguar and I have no updates yet. I just saw the recall for the F-Pace E-Pace and land rovers. My car is doing the same reported in the recall. I am aware they share the same part causing this recall, the DC-DC converter. My complaints to Jaguar get overlooked and I’m told everything is fine. They do not care about the safety of their customers. 2019 JAGUAR F-TYPE- OFallon, MO
There is a known issue with a piece inside of the drivers side headlight assembly causing the DRL and blinker to be very dim to where it is difficult to see in the daylight. The known failure is a piece inside called the Oculator. It apparently burns and melts causing the led light to fail to travel down the plastic strip effectively causing the blinker to be too dim. Jaguar knows about the issue and has manufactured a new headlight assembly with a corrected version of this oculator piece. They refuse to correct the issue under warranty however. My question is this...is this blinker too dim now to pass the federal standard listed for brightness of these turn signals? My car, or practically any other F-type that is 2019 or above, and has 30,000 miles or more on the odometer should be able to be used for verification.

2020 JAGUAR I-PACE- Boulder, CO
I purchased the vehicle with approximately 56,000 miles. Within 2–3 weeks after purchase a “traction battery fault” warning appeared. I took it to a dealership, which said it was a battery module fault. They replaced defective battery cell under warranty (repair value ~$7,000–8,000). During the same initial period and continuing after the battery repair, the vehicle exhibited intermittent AC charging failures. It would begin Level 2 charging sessions and then terminate them prematurely. This includes both the Level 2 charger I installed new at my home upon purchasing the car, and commercial Level 2 chargers. The home charger would repeatedly show a fault that the vehicle was ending the sessions. Over the following months, the condition progressively worsened from intermittent to near-total loss of AC charging capability. The vehicle can still DC fast charge. Dealer diagnosed the failure as a defective BCCM requiring replacement at a cost of approximately $6,700. This is a known and documented issue: Jaguar has issued TSB SSM75883 (NHTSA Document MC-10227452-0001) addressing I-PACE vehicles unable to charge with BCCM fault code U3000-49, and TSB SFCC Jul20_11 (NHTSA Document MC-10178140-0001) for the 2020 I-PACE specifically. The vehicle cannot be charged at home or at any AC charging station, rendering it effectively inoperable for normal daily use.

2020 JAGUAR I-PACE- Clearwater, FL
When braking the car jumps then brakes, the electrical system flickers sometimes and it won’t go into gear. If not used for a couple days a warning comes on. This has happened 2 times despite buying a new battery is what the dealership said it needed. Now it’s in the shop again for the same thing and not once did they tell me about the recall and now charging me for the software updates from the recall

2019 JAGUAR I-PACE- Roscoe, IL
I own a 2019 Jaguar I-PACE that is currently subject to a battery-related safety recall issued by the manufacturer. The defect involves the high-voltage battery system, which poses a potential fire risk and renders the vehicle unsafe to operate. Due to this recall, I have been advised that the vehicle is not safe to drive and should not be used. As a result, the vehicle is effectively unusable. This creates a safety concern because the battery defect presents a risk of thermal events, including fire, even when the vehicle is parked. The issue has been acknowledged by Jaguar Land Rover through the official recall. The vehicle has not been repaired because a complete and adequate remedy has not been made available. Jaguar Land Rover has inspected and reviewed the situation and has offered a buyback; however, the proposed resolution would leave me with approximately $10,000 in out-of-pocket financial loss despite the defect being manufacturer-related. There were no prior warning indicators that would have allowed me to prevent this issue. The problem became known upon notification of the recall. This situation has resulted in ongoing financial harm, as I am required to continue making payments on a vehicle that cannot be safely operated due to a manufacturer defect. The defective component (high-voltage battery system) is available for inspection upon request
