2020 JEEP GLADIATOR Complaints

In May of 2024 the center screen on my instrument cluster failed. There was a recall on this but my VIN was not included. 2020 Jeep Gladiator [XXX] . Now, an NHTSA probe was announced on the same issue. I paid $2,765.75 in parts and labor to have the failed screen replaced. Ultimately, I am hoping to be reimbursed for this. The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Gladiator. The contact stated that the instrument panel failed to function as intended. The instrument panel displayed a black screen. In addition, none of the necessary information needed to safely operate the vehicle was displayed. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.

Gauge Cluster Went Completly Black While Driving!!! Cant Tell Speed Or Warning Lights.

Dash lights (entire dash lights including radio and start/stop, heat/air) have gone out while driving. It is available for inspection upon request. Without critical information displayed there is an increased risk of a crash. Yes, the problem has occurred on other 2020 Jeep Gladiators and there is a recall on them. I took it the dealer and was informed that my Gladiator doesn’t fall under the recall. There was no indications other than a clicking noise in the dash and out they went. After the 4th time, the start/stop light has been on and doesn’t work and also on that part of the panel, heat/air controls do not work properly. When I start the vehicle, the air conditioner automatically comes on, on high and at the same time, the rear defogger/ heated mirrors comes on also and I cannot turn them off. They stay on for 5 minutes and then go off on their own, then and only then I am able to adjust the controls to what I want them on.

Driver side rear wheel speed sensor. This is a known issue national back order on the part, mechanic installed new part system does not reset and clear. In the current state, abs offline four-wheel drive system service required traction control service required. What is the true fix for this?

7” ipc screen started glitching when driving and then went blank. Can’t see any of the fuel gauge temp gauge or any warning lights or anything.

The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Gladiator. The contact stated that the instrument panel failed to illuminate or display the mileage, fuel level, and other information necessary to the operation of the vehicle. The contact stated that when the sun visor was down to block the sun and the vehicle was driven over uneven pavement, the sun visor occasionally slightly detached and blocked the view of the driver. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who determined that the instrument panel needed to be replaced. The dealer confirmed that the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V652000 (Electrical System); however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

The instrument cluster is not working. The 3.5” display is no longer functioning. This results in not knowing the oil pressure gauge, fuel gauge, odometer reading, temp gauge, and other warning/information gauges, etc. This issue has been confirmed but a service center, repair order attached. There was no warning to indicate a problem. The cluster just quick working.

My vehicle has a 3.6 pentastar engine. Around 60000 miles the engine developed a noticeable tick. Now the engine has multiple cylinder misfires, is leaking oil all over the engine compartment and causing issues with other electronic components (wheel speed sensors, power steering, electronic shifting, brake lights) Upon research I found this is to be a known issue with this motor. There apparently have been some associated recalls but I couldn’t find them. There are class action lawsuits as well
