As part of the Jeep Recall Z46 my vehicle is currently dead and sitting at the dealership. Dealership quoted over $15k to replace the entire fuel system. They said I can pay out of pocket to replace the entire fuel system however to claim under the recall they don’t have a remedy nor any new parts to replace the failed component along with replacing the rest of the fuel system from the metal contamination. Service advisor provided a corporate Chrysler contact number to escalate to a Chrysler case manager. After creating the case order I was told the case manager would be contacting me within 24 hours. So far it’s been about 5 days and attempting to call I get sent to a voicemail box that’s full.

The headrest on the passenger side seat deployed without any warning or a collision (AHR system). This vehicle has never been in a collision. It is available for inspection. My daughter was sitting in the passenger seat when it was deployed causing it to hit her in the head with a good amount of force. It has not yet been brought to a dealership as it just occurred. There were no warnings or messages prior to it deploying. I am concerned the driver side will deploy as i’m driving and the safety of passengers in the vehicle.

The drivers side seatbelt was not retracting correctly. We we’re taking a road trip on 95 and as a passenger I notice my seatbelt was very loose on me. When we stopped to get out, the seatbelt literally fell out the car door. We need to drive about 150 miles back home tomorrow and we are scared to death of being thrown through the windshield if there is a sudden braking or accident. I call the closest Jeep service center and they said there was no recall for the seatbelt not retracting. However, I found this in a google search: Front Outboard Seat Belts May Not Retract Properly - X90 Warranty Extension Date: 4/15/2021 Models: • 2014-2015 Grand Cherokee Laredo • 2014-2015 Grand Cherokee Limited • 2014-2015 Grand Cherokee Overland • 2014-2015 Grand Cherokee SRT • 2014-2015 Grand Cherokee Summit Summary: Customers may comment on one or more of the following: The front driver and or passenger seat belts may not retract properly; A front seat belt D-ring plastic is cracked.

I had a warning code of service electronic throttle. It then started to regenerate and we took it to Lithia Jeep to fix EGR recall. They needed to replace engine intake because it caught fire. Several months later the car broke down while driving, sputtering, knocking, squealing. Upon inspection, metal flakes found in oil. Suspected HPFP sucked into engine causing havoc. The HPFP is an open recall but no available replacement parts. I'm currently out of a vehicle. I've contacted Jeep but haven't heard a reply
