The passenger headrest has came apart for no reason. The jeep has not been involved in any type of accident. Since there is not a recall the dealerships will not replace this even though there are many complaints about it.

The passenger side headrest deployed. At the time it happened, thank goodness my Mother was not in the vehicle. It has been inspected by the dealership. There were no warning signs. Not happy the driver side headrest won't be replaced at the same time. I was told it had to deploy first. Then replaced.

While my daughter was driving, the driver's side headrest airbag deployed unexpectedly. This happened while driving down the road, at 65 mph, fortunately it did not cause a wreck. It has already happened on passenger side as well.

The driver's side active head restraint deployed on its own without any sort of collision. Upon further inspection, the plastic which holds a metal rod failed. The rod was still inside of the jaws of the small module which appears to open upon an impact, allowing the AHR to deploy. Upon further research, this is a known issue with similar vehicles. I've since attempted to temporarily repair the thing since we leave for vacation in 2 days and I don't want to drive 2000 miles with the AHR in the deployed position.
