2024 KIA SPORTAGE- Stanfield, NC
I have had no accident. In my opinion the 2024 Kia Sportage has a dangerous fire safety problem. This car has no way to open the back tailgate from inside. No release inside the car or on the key. I an accident occurs and the driver should pass out and could not get the key to someone, there is no way inside the car to release the back door to escape. If the car should catch on fire you would have to breakout the windows and then you will still have to take the door off to get to the people if driver can not hand you the key .There was an auto opener on the 2023 but not this model ..unless you purchase it special, which no one told me this when I purchased this car or I would not have purchased it .I even called back 3 months later trying to find out how to open my door and first was told by a dealer it was on my key as I tried to find it and called the dealership two additional times and asked at the dealership 2 more when I went for maintenance. made a 3rd trip and finally spoke to someone at the dealership who just now told me there is no key or inside access to the trunk. The dealers did not know and had me searching to use the key and the drivers door section. I think there should be a recall and they should have to put this on the car for it is a great safety hazard if you or your child is trapped inside a wrecked car. They should at least tell you this before purchasing and I would not have bought and paid cash for this car. NOW they want me to pay for this ? It is a fire SAFETY HAZARD. They need to make this right! Cars have had a way to get into the rear on key and from inside for 20 years now Please consider this before people dies in a accident due to this. I did call the company and they seem unconcerned. They need to get this feature on my car without charging me for it.If this was a standard feature on the 2023 then it should be on the newer cars ..It is all about money and not our safety. Why would you take a feature this important off a vehicle?

2020 KIA SORENTO- Marion, IL
[XXX] while driving down the highway the vehicle started to stall and shake significantly, while exiting the highway then and only then did a check engine light and oil pressure light. The safety of myself as well as my husband and 4 kids was put at risk b y the fact that it was during the solar eclipse, and our area highways were bumper to bumper traffic. With multiple accidents already happenening in the area. Had we not safely been able to exit the highway ourselves as well as any other individual around us could have been in imminent danger of a serious accident. The problem has absolutely been confirmed by Larry stovesand kia as well as sales automotive. The vehicle has not further been inspected. As kia stated it is a cylinder 4 misfire requiring a total engine replacement. That they state is not covered under warranty (exceeded miles) or class action that includes kia sorentos up to year 2019. 2014 KIA OPTIMA- Fredericksburg, VA
I had a fuel leak, I bought this used car from a used dealership. Took it afford kia last year where there was no fix for either the recall or the previous recall of the fuel leak (apparently it was already fixed) went to go replace part of the fuel line and it wasn't even properly fixed, they had electrical tape and zip ties around just an extra layer of rubber they put around it. Not sure who "fixed it" before but now I'm suffering the aftermath of a part of missing fuel line which I don't have the strength to get the metal link into it, and an undriveable car. I didn't even know there was a fuel line issue cause kia just told me there were no open recalls on it for anything fuel related instead of telling me there was a previous recall which clearly wasn't fixed properly.

2022 KIA TELLURIDE- Perry, KS
I have an ongoing problem with this vehicle that KIA will not address. My alternator was replaced under warranty last April 30 and when I got it back, the CV boot was leaking grease all over the underside of the car. It took 6 weeks to get them to replace the cv boot (June 14). After that it continued to spray grease all over the underside of my car and there is an increasing amount of vibration going down the road. KIA said they didn't notice a problem when I took it back in August. I took my vehicle to an independent shop who said that at a minimum the front passenger cv axle needed replacement but that there is also a lot of play with the lower center motor mount. KIA did ended up replacing both cv axles when I took it back because at that point I had a significant wobble in the front end when I drive at speeds of 40-60mph. When I got my car back from cv axle replacement the problem was improved but there was still a vibration that has been increasingly worse. I returned my vehicle to KIA in January and they said they don't feel anything in the drive train but that now my tires have worn unevenly and need replacement. My tires were rotated every 6,000 miles and the vibration/wobble contributed to their uneven wear. I have replaced the tires and an alignment has been done, but it the symptoms are worse. Searching through social media and various sources show that the front passenger cv axles are a common issue for the Tellurides and a lot of people are experiencing similar problems. My suspension checks out. All of the obvious things have been ruled out and the required maintenance has been performed. I have had 3 occasions where there was a noise that sounded like something coming apart going down the road. I have concerns that this vehicle is unsafe to drive. I feel that KIA is not going to address this problem unless there is a recall requiring them to do it.

2019 KIA SOUL- Summerville, SC
I have a 2019 Kia Soul and the engine has had issues over the past year regarding it stalling and losing power. These engines are prone to have oil circulation issues which can cause catastrophic engine failure due to lack of adequate lubrication inside the cylinder(s). My engine has cut off and lost power while driving on several occasions recently. If this happens, it can cause someone to smash into us on the interstate causing a possible fatal accident. I am terrified to drive my vehicle because of this issue. The VIN for my vehicle is: [XXX] . I purchased this vehicle new in 2020 our Kia dealer in Goose Creek, SC. I have heard of many of these engines being replaced by Kia and feel that this issue directly affects my vehicle. Please help us get this issue resolved.
