I just bought 2025 kia seltos EX for 5 days. oil cooler already leaking oil, car running fine no lights on. And another issue is when I moved steering to left or right, even on slow speed make any turn, I heard 'dot dot dot' mental sounds under passage wheel, can't believe it happened in new car.

  • 2017 KIA SORENTO
    - Greenville, SC

Driving down the interstate to pick my children up from school and all of a sudden the car made a weird bubbly grinding sound and stopped accelerating. I had to pull off and park as the car would not go any further. My vehicle has had regular maintenance and oil changes since I purchased it. I had in fact just put a full quart of oil in it. The first mechanic stated that there was metal shards in the oil. In between oil changes, I have to add several quarts of oil because it seems to just disappear. There’s no oil leak yet the oil would be almost completely gone not even a full month after a complete oil change. My car has currently been sitting at the Kia dealership for a lot now waiting for repair. I paid for the extended warranty yet. Kia is dragging their feet and won’t even offer me a rental car while I wait for my car to be repaired, no one returned my calls. No one updates me on what’s going on. I am fed up.

  • 2015 KIA SORENTO
    - Jacksonville, FL

Bought a 2015 Kia Sorento that is Pearl white. Got the car without any knowledge of the pearl white issues. For a beautiful color it is the worst paint job I have ever seen a manufacturer put out. The paint code is steadily flaking off and I'm finding new spots what seems to be daily now. My 2003 Tahoe paint job is holding up better than what my 2015 Kia paint job is. Kia needs to fix their crappy paint job it's hard to enjoy this color when it's flaking and won't even stay intact

  • 2017 KIA NIRO
    - Auburn, AL

The contact owns a 2017 Kia Niro. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the check hybrid system warning light illuminated, and the hybrid system seized. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed with power relay assembly failure. The contact was informed that the power relay assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be repaired. The contact referenced Technical Service Bulletin: SC256 as a possible fix for the failure. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 87,000.

  • 2014 KIA SORENTO
    - Chicago, IL

My vehicle has always been well-maintained with the dealer with regularly scheduled oil changes. On the captioned date, my vehicle failed the state emissions test. Immediately after leaving the testing facility, the check engine light came on and the engine began to rumble. The vehicle barely made it to the Kia dealership. Kia told me the entire engine needs to be rebuilt for $6,500 and that may not even solve the “timing” issues.
