Whenever it rains, the windshield leaks on the passenger side of my vehicle. I had it inspected at the local Land Rover dealership and was told, "it's a thing", and was informed it would cost me $2,000 to repair it. This issue has not yet caused any safety concerns, but the dashboard instruments are beginning to fail, which could be an indicator of water damage.

There is a fleetwide problem with the DEF system in these vehicles that is well known to the manufacturer yet they have failed to address it. The system frequently produces a DEF error which causes the vehicle to go into a shutdown mode, which can leave the occupant stranded in a dangerous situation.

The airbag warning lamp came on. We took it to LR and they said the replacement would cost $1038. The airbag needed to be replaced at our cost. However, I did see that there us a recall for airbags on my year and model car which my VIN is not included on. However, I believe this may be an error on LR that they did not include my vehicle. I should also note my vehicle is diesel and that might be a reason it was left out? I believe it to be part of recall Part 573 Safety Recall Report 17V-154 The information contained in this report was submitted pursuant to 49 CFR §573 Manufacturer Name : Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC Submission Date : MAR 13, 2017 NHTSA Recall No. : 17V-154 Manufacturer Recall No. : N026 Manufacturer Information : Manufacturer Name : Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC Address : 555 MACARTHUR BOULEVARD MAHWAH NJ 07430 Company phone : [XXX] Population : Number of potentially involved : 205 Estimated percentage with defect : 100 % Vehicle Information : Vehicle 1 : 2016-2016 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT Vehicle Type : LIGHT VEHICLES Body Style : SUV Power Train : NR Descriptive Information : 2016 MY Land Rover Range Rover Sport Vehicles in select VIN range Production Dates : SEP 20, 2016 - OCT 24, 2016 VIN Range 1 : Begin : [XXX] End : [XXX]Not sequential VIN Range 2 : Begin : [XXX] End : [XXX] Not sequential Vehicle 2 : 2016-2016 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER Vehicle Type : LIGHT VEHICLES Body Style : SUV Power Train : NR Descriptive Information : 2016 MY Land Rover Range Rover Vehicles in select VIN range Production Dates : SEP 22, 2016 - OCT 25, 2016 VIN Range 1 : Begin : [XXX] End : [XXX] Not sequential INFORMATION Redacted PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

At the end of May, about 10 days after getting my car serviced at the Land Rover Manhattan location middle of May, I headed to a short trip with my family. An hour into our trip, I could hear horrible noises coming from the engine, as if the gears were grinding with the engine shaking drastically. As I tried to pull to the side of the highway to safety, smoke started coming out of the front of my car. I got my family out of the car immediately and called roadside assistance. I went to inspect my car while we waited, and I noticed that there was oil all over the front (and rear) bumpers, as if all of the oil had spilt while I was driving. This was extremely strange since there was no light on my dashboard and my car had recently been serviced. It has been a month and a half since the incident and I have yet to get a clear idea of what exactly went wrong and I have yet to receive back my car.

2016 Land rover Evoque. 23090 miles on it. I was driving local road around 30mpg. I heard something loud pop noise and brake system failed. Break pedal feels like sponge and sink to the floor, not enough breaking power to stop the vehicle in front of stop sign. I used engine break to reduce speed and use approximately 5-10% remain break power to stop finally. After I stopped car. I noticed break fluid is completely leaked out. Technician verified that right front caliper hose is broken. My vehicle is only 24000 miles and mostly city commute driving, no off-roading. It it’s manufacture defect break hose, I think it’s serious safety issue. Luckily, no accident with other vehicles in my case. Please investigate this break hose issue and prevent accident if it’s manufacture defective break hose problem. Thank you [XXX] If you need pictures of the defective break hose or other question please feel free to send an email to [XXX].
