2022 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER EVOQUE- Germantown, MD
The center console infotainment display screen fails to boot on vehicle start-up, remaining entirely blank/black. Because the screen stays black, critical vehicle interfaces—including the mandatory rear-view backup camera system—are fully non-functional, creating a compliance and safety concern. This specific failure mode—a clock-synchronization mismatch causing a blank display at startup and loss of the backup camera—is identical to the defect addressed under Land Rover Safety Recall N972 (NHTSA Campaign #25V016000)

My car has approximately 65000 miles on it. I purchased the car in December 2021 for about $120,000. The car has only been serviced by Land Rover. The car needs a new engine which is $46,000. I owe $12,700 on the car. The dealership told me an animal had chewed. They told me this for 2 weeks. Now they are saying there was no animal involved. The Geico inspector has not seen the car.

On the previous day, The vehicle began with notifying me that the battery needed charging and recommended starting the vehicle to charge it. This was done and drove home from work. Next day same notification but when I started driving, the car started losing power, no acceleration at all. Drove for about 3 minutes without ability to accelerate, then suddenly there was no power, just rolling, in a busy street. Pulled over into a business premises and called tow. Dealer informed me the DC to DC converter was bad and needed replacement at 2k, this part was also in back order so no timeline on completion.

2022 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT- Bernardsville, NJ
My 2022 Range Rover Sport had a Charging System Fault Detected warning light come on out of the blue. 5 mins late power steering was not working, then out of nowhere the car died in the middle of a dangerous intersection. It had to be towed 25 miles to where it is under warranty. The DC convertor part s back ordered and there is no date for when it will be available. It has already been a month, with a prediction from the dealer of 4 to 6 more weeks, and no loaner available. It is happening to so many of the cars, they need to call a recall, it is so dangerous.
