2020 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER EVOQUE- Blythewood, SC
On 4/26/2026 My vehicle experienced hybrid system failure, electrical failure, charging system failure, loss of drive power, electrical shutdown, and loss of exterior lighting at a busy intersection, while at a red light. My vehicle had to be towed and was confirmed by the Range Rover dealership as a DC-DC converter failure. My 73 yr old mother and I had to get out and direct traffic for over two hours, to keep my vehicle from getting hit or us being seriously injured, until a wrecker arrived. I had previously took my vehicle to two dealerships, when I had a light to come on. They told me to keep driving until they researched the problem and that my vehicle would not leave me on side of the road. Approximately 2 weeks later is when it displayed another warning light, right before shutting off completely on the above date and having me stopped, not on the side of the road, but worse, at a red light busy intersection off a highway ramp. I found out by the dealership that my vehicle issue is part of an active DC/DC converter recall. My husband and I had to pay for the costly repairs, towing and have been out of a vehicle, with no loaner for over a month. I am requesting a "recall reimbursement”,“goodwill reimbursement” and “pre-remedy reimbursement eligibility."

2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT- ashburn, VA
I recently noticed rust forming on both sides of the fuel tank support shields. The manual says that these shields are directly connected to the fuel tanks and that if rust develops further then the tanks could fall.

2016 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT- Social Circle, GA
Shortly after purchase of the vehicle on November 26, 2021, the vehicle began experiencing repeated DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid), SCR, and DPF system failures, accompanied by dashboard warning indicators, drivability instability, reduced power warnings, and eventual shutdown conditions. The most serious safety concern is that when the DEF/emissions warning activates, the vehicle may enter reduced-power mode and ultimately become non-operable, creating a significant roadway safety hazard. The vehicle has repeatedly experienced conditions where it could lose power, become unreliable in traffic, or shut down unexpectedly after emissions-related warnings appeared. The vehicle required repeated repair attempts beginning almost immediately after delivery, including diagnostics and repairs involving: DEF system malfunction SCR/DPF restriction codes Reduced power warnings Fuel pressure-related faults Emissions-system failures Drivability instability Suspension-related concerns Despite multiple repair attempts by authorized facilities and warranty-related interventions, the same categories of failures continued to recur. This condition creates a serious safety concern because the vehicle can become unreliable or effectively inoperable while being driven, particularly after activation of emissions-related warning systems. The repeated loss-of-power and shutdown-related behavior creates risk during normal roadway operation. I am requesting review of the recurring emissions-system failure pattern, drivability instability, and operational shutdown behavior associated with this vehicle.

2021 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT- Concord, NC
Component/System: 48V Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) system including the DC/DC Converter (subject of active recall D126), Battery Energy Control Module (BECM), Telematics Control Unit (TCU), Battery Charge Control Module (BCCM), and Vehicle Immobilizer Module (VIM). All components are available for inspection upon request. What happened: My 2021 Range Rover Sport HSE MHEV (VIN: [XXX] ) experienced a complete no-start condition after sitting for approximately one week. Prior to towing the vehicle to Hendrick Jaguar Land Rover Charlotte, I performed a live data diagnostic using a Land Rover specific iCarsoft LR V3 diagnostic tool which confirmed the 48V hybrid battery at 17.86% state of charge critically below the minimum threshold required to authorize a start sequence. The TCU, BCCM, and VIM all showed not fitted simultaneously a known cascade effect of a critically depleted 48V MHEV system. Recall D126 for DC/DC Converter failure was confirmed on my vehicle. The DC/DC converter manages power transfer between the 48V and 12V systems. Its failure directly caused the 48V battery depletion and subsequent cascade module failures. Safety risk: The vehicle became completely immobile with no warning. The immobilizer went offline preventing the vehicle from starting, stranding the occupant in a parking lot. A vehicle that shuts down without warning and cannot be restarted poses a serious safety risk to the driver and other road users. Additionally the DC/DC converter failure affecting the MHEV system represents a risk of sudden loss of hybrid assist during driving. 2025 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER- Long Grove, IL
On the morning of [XXX] my wife was driving her 2025 Range Rover a short distance when an electrical fault came on the dash reading "stop safely Electrical fault detected". Upon turning into our driveway right after that warning came up, a variety of other warnings came on the dash including a transmission overheat warning. The car then started losing electrical functions and as she pulled into the garage. The vehicle was half way in the garage, my wife pressed the park button and tried to exit the vehicle. She was not aware that the park function no longer worked and that the car had completely lost all power and functions. The vehicle began rolling backwards due to the grade of the garage and she had to try to physically stop the vehicle or it would crush her between the door and garage. After attempting to physically stop it she realized she couldn't and jumped back in the car and applied the brakes. Her back was injured in the process of trying to hold the vehicle from rolling. She called me and had to sit in the vehicle for 20 minutes until I could get home to chock the wheels and get her out of the car. Zeigler Land Rover out of Schaumburg is where the vehicle was purchased new in November. When I reached out to them they claimed they never had this issue before. The dealership repeatedly asked my wife and I in seperate text messages "if we could describe where the smoke came from". No smoke was ever seen or reported from either of us. The supplied a Range Rover Sport loaner vehicle a few days after our Range Rover was picked up. They continued to tell me that they have never seen this issue before and are working with Land Rover to try and identify it. On Tuesday [XXX] the loaner vehicle displayed the same message "stop safely, electrical fault detected". She parked the vehicle and hasn't driven it since. 2025 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT- RANCHO MIRAGE, CA
FIRST ISSUE-THIS REPORT - LOSS OF POWER / ELECTRICAL FAULT (4/10/26) On April 10, 2026, I backed out of a parking space into a drive lane in a commercial parking lot. As the vehicle was rolling, it suddenly lost power. I attempted to restart the vehicle, but it would not start. The vehicle continued rolling backward into the intersection. Two warning messages appeared on the dashboard -"Stop Safely/Electrical Fault Detected" "Stop Safely – Loss of Drive".Photos attached. Because the vehicle could not be restarted or moved, it remained disabled in the intersection for approx two hours. The vehicle had to be towed to the dealership. When the vehicle was taken to the dealership, I was later told that no problem could be found. The dealership reportedly ran a computer diagnostic test & stated that nothing was wrong with the vehicle. They performed routine maintenance, charged more than $900, & returned the vehicle to me without identifying or repairing the cause of the loss-of-power event. SECOND ISSUE – INTERMITTENT SENSOR FAILURES - The vehicle's front & rear sensors operate intermittently. I scheduled a service appointment for May 20, 2026, to address this issue, but I was forced to cancel a I did not have transportation available. THIRD ISSUE (reported to nhtsa.gov) BRAKE SLAMING/SUDDEN STOP (5/2/26) On 5/2/26, the vehicle experienced a brake slamming/sudden stop while I was driving through an intersection. Following this incident, I developed neck pain & headaches. The vehicle was towed to the dealership for a second time. During discussion with the dealership, I was informed that the April 10, 2026 service visit had been documented as relating to a "check engine" light. I want to make clear that the warning messages displayed during the April 10 incident were not a check-engine light. The messages displayed were: • "Stop Safely–Electrical Fault Detected"• "Stop Safely–Loss of Drive" My research found reports of other RR owners experiencing the same issue.

2013 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT- Reading , PA
VEHICLE INFORMATION: Year: 2013 Make: Land Rover Model: Range Rover Sport VIN: [XXX] Mileage: 97890 DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM: I am unable to properly refuel my vehicle. The gas pump nozzle repeatedly clicks off during refueling due to pressure buildup in the fuel tank, making it extremely difficult to add fuel. My authorized Land Rover dealer has diagnosed a saturated evaporative (EVAP) canister as the cause. Safety Recall N623 (Gasoline Fuel Tank Flange Assembly Cracking) was previously completed on my vehicle at Jaguar Main Line in Wayne, PA However, the refueling issue has persisted following that recall repair. The EVAP canister saturation is consistent with prolonged fuel vapor exposure caused by the cracked fuel tank flange that Recall N623 was designed to address. I have made multiple attempts to resolve this with both the dealership and Land Rover North America Customer Relations. I was assigned a case manager|Brittany Thomas|case number 8001492338 [XXX] who has not followed up despite my repeated contact attempts. Land Rover has directed me back to the dealership and the dealership has directed me back to Land Rover, with no resolution provided. The vehicle remains unable to be properly refueled and the EVAP canister replacement has not been covered under goodwill or warranty. ACTIONS TAKEN: •Recall N623 completed at Jaguar Land Rover Mainline [XXX] even after this repair fuel pumping got worse •Dealer diagnosed saturated EVAP canister •Multiple calls made to Land Rover Customer Relations [XXX] ) •Case opened with Land Rover case manager Brittany T, Customer Relationship Centre •Matt Morritz -Service Director at the dealership will NOT cover the repair even though my car needed to be towed to the dealership because you cannot pump gas into the tank. 2023 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER VELAR- Beverly Hills, CA
What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? The Lane Keep Assist (LKA) system on my 2023 Range Rover Velar P250 has lost its active steering intervention capability following one or more Software Over The Air (SOTA) updates. The system no longer applies corrective steering torque to keep the vehicle within lane markings. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? Lane Keep Assist was a functional active safety system at the time of purchase, applying steering corrections to prevent unintended lane departure. That active intervention has been removed or disabled through a software update without my knowledge or consent. The vehicle now drifts across lane lines at highway speeds with no corrective action from the system. This increases the risk of a lane departure collision, particularly during momentary driver inattention — the exact scenario this system is designed to protect against. I was not notified that this safety capability would be altered or removed. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? I brought the vehicle to my authorized Land Rover dealership under warranty. The dealer acknowledged the system behavior but told me it was "working as intended" under the current software version. They did not reproduce the original functionality or offer a remedy. The dealer did not dispute that the active steering correction is absent — they simply classified the current behavior as acceptable. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? The vehicle was inspected by my authorized Land Rover dealership, which is a manufacturer-affiliated service center. No independent inspection has taken place. 2016 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY SPORT- Shawnee, KS
The braking system failed, specifically a brake line rupture/failure that resulted in a complete loss of braking function. The vehicle is currently located at AAA or IAA facility, because it was totaled after an accident. The loss of braking function created an immediate and severe safety hazard. My wife was unable to stop the vehicle, which resulted in a collision with another vehicle. This placed my wife, the occupants of the other vehicle, including a child seated on the side of impact, and others on the road at significant risk of serious injury or fatality. The issue has been diagnosed by the Kansas City Land Rover Dealership as a faulty brake line rupture without warning. However, there are photo of the ruptured brake line, located where the aluminum line joins with the rubber line. A full independent inspection was completed. The vehicle has been involved in a police-reported accident, and insurance has been notified. The vehicle has also been transferred to a AAA or IAA facility, but is deemed totaled by my insurance. There was a visual inspection by the dealership in Kansas City, where they informed me that they found a break or rupture in the front passenger brake line. There were no warning lights, messages, or noticeable symptoms prior to the failure. The loss of braking occurred suddenly and without prior indication while the vehicle was in operation, causing a T-bone collision with another vehicle.

2019 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY- Monrovia, CA
The contact owns a 2019 Land Rover Discovery. The contact stated that while driving the vehicle at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle suddenly lost motive power and an odd noise was heard. Although the vehicle was able to restart, it knocked and shook very hard, rendering it no longer drivable. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V040000 (ENGINE) however, the VIN was not included in the recall repair. The dealer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 53,000.
