2011 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT- Jamaica, NY
My 2011 Range Rover Sport HSE experienced a severe fuse box failure. Fuses F15, F18, and F20 melted, causing wiring damage and disabling multiple systems. This failure appears to be due to a design or manufacturing defect and poses a serious fire hazard, putting the vehicle and occupants at risk. Upon research, it appears that almost every Range Rover Sport (LR3/320) from 2010–2013 suffers from this issue, indicating a widespread, systemic problem rather than an isolated incident. Request: I formally request that Land Rover and/or NHTSA investigate this safety defect and consider issuing a recall for all affected vehicles immediately. I can provide photographic evidence of the damaged fuse box if needed. Sincerely, [XXX] Phone: [XXX] Email: [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

2013 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER- Huntington, NY
The metal gas tank shroud (cover) on the bottom of the car is completed rotted away and there is no longer anything protecting the gas tank from rupture. This was brought to my attention by an automotive service center as well as my own visual inspection. My understanding this shroud not only protects the tank but also helps support it to the car.

The red light (Electrical Failure) popped up. Next the car essentially shut down - while on the road - luckily it was on a side road so no collision / personal injury occured although it could have been a disaster. After waiting in 10 degree cold, i towed the vehicle to Range Rover and upon testing next day, i was notified that its a defective DC/DC converter. There is no ETA on when the vehicle will be fixed as the part is on back order as this appears to be a systematic failure across a number of Land Rover makes and models. Dealership suggested this should be a wide spread recall. In the meantime, Range Rover knew of this issue. Dindt notify me (or anyone) and put our lives in danger. And have no means to fix the issue given the part is on backorder

2024 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT- Ambler, PA
Vehichle completely shut off while driving in middle of road. All power was cut to vehicle, luckily I had foot on the break at the time at a stop light. Was dead in the intersection, required a tow to dealership. The dealer confirmed it was a DC/DC electrical failure that had my mild hybrid engine not working. Basically communication with the gas engine stopped and vehicle died after draining the battery.

The proprietary wiper blades on my 2024 Range Rover Sport have been replaced 4 times in 6 months due to my inability to see clearly out my windshield during rain. The vehicle has been in two different Land Rover dealerships over the past four months in an attempt to resolve the inability to see clearly out the windshield during rain. The wiper arms have also been replaced but the issue remains unresolved. The New Rochelle, New York Land Rover Dealer has spent hours trying to resolve the issue with no improvement. I filed a complaint with Land Rover North America Customer Service (see attached email) and they said there was nothing they could do. This issue has been ongoing since the car has been purchased and nothing has been resolved to date. No other wiper blades are available for replacement because the wiper blades are only made by Land Rover and therefore are not available anywhere else. No other replacement wiper blades can be installed on my or any other vehicle manufactured by Range Rover.

Repeated failures of the 48v to 12v DC to DC converter. Failure to charge the 12v system results in an complete drain of the 12v battery in under 30 mins while operating the vehicle. The result is an immediate shut down of the vehicle. In my case, while in the middle of a travel lane. Without 12v power the vehicle cannot be shifted into neutral and cannot be moved creating a very unsafe situation. My vehicle has been in an authorized land rover service dealership five time on this issue. The converter was replaced only to occur again. The vehicle displays and warning message on the dash that an electrical failure has occurred and to stop the vehicle. As the voltage of the 12v battery drops, multiple systems begin to fail in fast progression while trying to get to a safe pullover. Multiple engine fault codes occur, including electrical generator failure. Current mileage on the vehicle 13800.

While driving my Defender 130 at Highway speed a warning for a faulty electrical system light came on. Within a mile while I was trying to exit the highway, all electrical systems failed. I had a gearbox failure warning and the car went into neutral at highway speed. Power steering failed and I had to manhandle the vehicle off the road into a snow drift to get off the highway.

On January 25, 2026, while driving my 2022 Land Rover Defender 110 in Colorado on Interstate 70, the vehicle suddenly and completely lost power with no warning. There were no dashboard alerts, warning lights, or messages prior to the failure. The vehicle abruptly became disabled while traveling at highway speed, creating an immediate and serious risk of a crash, severe injury, or death to myself and other motorists. I was extremely fortunate to be able to safely maneuver the vehicle out of traffic and exit the highway. Given traffic conditions on I-70, this failure could easily have resulted in a major accident. The vehicle was undrivable and had to be towed to Flatirons Land Rover in Colorado on January 25, 2026. On January 26, 2026, after I had to repeatedly follow up with the dealership, I was informed that the failure was caused by a defective component related to the battery/electrical system. Although the repair is covered under warranty, the required part is on backorder, and I was advised the vehicle will be out of service for approximately six weeks. The dealership stated they cannot provide a loaner vehicle, leaving me without transportation. They said the dcdc converter and I don not understand and they did not explain well A sudden loss of power without warning at highway speeds represents a serious safety defect that puts drivers and the public at risk. I am concerned this defect may affect other vehicles and could lead to serious injuries or fatalities if not addressed.
