I allowed a software update to my vehicle about six weeks ago. Now, about 10 minutes after starting the car, a screen comes up, completely covering all vehicle information. The screen does not close except with repeated tapping of the X and the left bar. Closing the screen requires attention that would be better paid to road conditions and other drivers. I asked my Lexus dealer service department to get rid of the screen. They were unable to do so. They suggested contacting Lexus via the emergency button while parked. I did so but when I replied that I did not have an emergency, I was disconnected. If this screen came up when the vehicle is started, then it would not be a safety concern. But coming up 10 minutes after ignition, it is definitely a dangerous distraction. I live in a mountainous region where driving requires full attention. It is a 30 minute drive to where I can pull over and get rid of the screen. During this time I am distracted by the screen and have no access to vehicle information.

The anti-reflective coating on the rear view mirror on the inside of the car is coming through the mirror causing black spots that obscure vision out the back of the car. This issue affects all 2006-2011 Lexus gs models. All oem replacements online have this happen to some degree. I bought this car a couple months ago, this was an issue from the day I bought it and most likely started many years prior in my specific model.

2013 Lexus Es300h driving on [XXX] , I felt the brake didn't work during the street. It's hard to push the brake, and I almost hit the car in front. OMG, I was very scared. I saw an ABS brake light, and I tried to turn into a parking lot and find the nearest Pepboys in Birmingham, Alabama to inspect the system. I was informed of a problem with the Brake Booster Assembly. I’m sorry I can’t afford to pay the labor, service and parts at this time. On my 2021 Lexus RX350L, the left-hand side outer rear-view mirror vibrates. This can be observed when the car is driven >35mph or when driving on rough roads. At freeway speeds, the mirror vibrates to such a degree that it is difficult to see from it and causes perception issues. I noticed this issue even more pronounced on some other 2021 RX350 vehicles that I test drove before purchasing the one I own. The issue seems to mimic that of L-SB-0058-22. I suspect the cause and remedy are likely the same.

The Drivers side door (light at the bottom of the door) sparked and then the door went up in flames. At that point the electricity in the car ceased to work. The car is available for inspection at the dealership where we had it towed. If the door was closed and there was someone in the car when it happened then they would have gotten burned or worse. Our insurance company is investigating and Lexus has been taking their time and helpful in the matter. Fire Department checked out the car at the time and said the wires in the door were very hot after putting out the fire. There were no symptoms or warnings prior to this happening.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the failure with the sensors or tires was not determined. The failure recurred several times. The vehicle was taken to the same dealer several times, where the cause of the failure was not determined; however, the dealer replaced the tire pressure sensors to indicate the tire was low at 29 PSI instead of the required 35 PSI. The rain sensing wiper do not work properly. The wiper swipe once then stop. I have to turn them off and on again to get them to restarted. Also once they do start, they randomly stop for no reason. I have had it to the dealer twice. I was told the dealer contacted Lexus who confirmed this is a problem, with NO fix. The dealer also tested all the new RX 350's models, 2023 and 2024 on their lot, and ALL of them had the same problem. This is a major safety hazard that will cause accidents. It was serviced at Thompson Lexus in Doylestown, PA.
