2013 LEXUS GX- Idyllwild, CA
In 2018 shottenkirk desert lexus marked two recalls as completed but also simultaneously typed in a note saying "customer declined worked and is out of town" The original part number and quantity fields are left blank. The dealership was paid for these items. I do not have anywhere in the vehicle history after that date showing any recalls were addressed. The recalls are the airbag which is a safety hazard for exploding shrapnel., and for the instrumental panel. Both were paid to dealer but both have blank /missing part numbers. Finally--once I reported to lexus corporate and the dealer General manager, the GM Matt attempted to offer me a cash settlement and repairs but I must sign a non disclosure. This dealership sold me this vehicle with deferred recall work that was never remedied in 2022. I'm disabled and have a child. This dealerahip is trying to cover up their felonious actions and I am taking the car to another dealership to document what parts are on my car and how to proceed. I have reported to OAG, DMV, AND BAR. IM also filing police report and filing with the district attorney office.

My wife was driving the subject car She intended to come off the road to give a way to on coming car. She got in naghbour's drive way and intended move 10 feet. When she tried to put more gas to move the car was hyper accepting drove 50 feets away and hit naghbour's ion gate and stopped. When she back off it did again and hit street lamp. It did two more time. Ended up damaging 4 corners of the car and all the material that the car hit. I could not understand that she hit the 4 corner of the car. That is why I suspected engine problem. When I tried the same movement nàghbour came out and worry that the car will do the same thing. While I was talking to him. He told me he has security camera and he noticed excess unning of the engine. He sent me the clip I couldn't see the car but certainly I could hear the engine. The end of the report.

2013 LEXUS GS- Murphy, TX
2013 Lexus GS350, VIN [XXX], manufactured 04/2013. Mileage at repair was approximately 117,310–117,485 miles. During diagnosis for check-engine/EVAP codes, liquid gasoline was found inside the EVAP canister / Leak Detection Pump assembly. This EVAP component is intended to handle fuel vapor, and the presence of liquid fuel appears abnormal. The vehicle had multiple EVAP codes confirmed by both an independent scanner and the Lexus dealer’s Toyota TIS/Techstream system: P2401, P2402, P2419, P043E, and P043F. Park Place Lexus in [XXX] documented that the Leak Detection Pump was mechanically “stuck ON/OFF” and the Pressure Switching Valve was “stuck ON.” This appears consistent with fuel contamination or internal restriction of the EVAP canister/LDP assembly, not just a simple sensor or wiring issue. My safety concern is that liquid gasoline was present in or around an electrically actuated EVAP component located near the vehicle underbody. If fuel migrates further into the pump, connector, wiring, or surrounding area, it may create a potential fire safety risk. This component should not normally contain liquid gasoline. Park Place Lexus replaced the EVAP Emission Canister and Leak Detection Pump assembly, part #77740-30350, with 3.0 hours labor. The vehicle was dropped off XXX and ready XXX. Repair Order #1229991. After repair, the EVAP system re-test passed and the Texas emissions inspection passed. I paid $1,205.88 out of pocket; the repair was not covered by any recall or free-of-charge remedy. I have photos, videos, scan results, and the dealer repair invoice available. I am filing this complaint so NHTSA can track whether other Lexus/Toyota owners experience the same pattern of liquid fuel intrusion, mechanically stuck Leak Detection Pump / Pressure Switching Valve failure, and related EVAP codes. 2025 LEXUS TX- Ames, IA
I am reporting two separate but related fuel-system defects on my 2025 Lexus TX500h (VIN [XXX]) that raise safety concerns and appear to be widespread across Lexus TX and NX hybrid models. FUEL FILLER DOOR FAILS TO OPEN: The electronic fuel filler door intermittently fails to open when the release is activated. It sometimes requires multiple attempts, and at times will not open at all, leaving the vehicle unable to be refueled. This creates a safety risk of being stranded with no ability to add fuel, including the risk of running out of fuel on the road or being unable to refuel in an emergency. The failure appears to worsen in cold weather. This is a widely reported problem on 2022-2025 Lexus NX and TX hybrid vehicles and has been attributed to a faulty electronic fuel-door lock actuator (referenced by owners and parts suppliers as OEM part number 77030-F6020). Owners are frequently forced to use a manual emergency release located behind an access panel in the cargo area in order to refuel. FUEL TANK CANNOT BE FILLED TO CAPACITY: On a near-empty tank, the fuel pump nozzle shuts off after only approximately 8 gallons, despite the tank's rated capacity of approximately 17 gallons. Adding additional fuel requires repeated, prolonged attempts and often only a few more gallons can be added. This significantly reduces usable driving range relative to what the vehicle's fuel gauge and range estimate imply, creating a risk of unexpectedly low fuel and reduced range in situations where refueling options are limited. Other owners have reported the same behavior, and in at least one documented case a Lexus Field Technical Specialist diagnosed the cause as a deformed/defective fuel tank requiring a redesigned replacement. Both conditions are present on my vehicle. I am reporting them so that they are documented at the federal level. No crash, injury, or fire has occurred. I have also raised these issues with my Lexus dealer. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

2024 LEXUS NX- Dothan, AL
I started my vehicle and thr complete infotainment screen was black, no display, no backup camera, nothing but a black screen. The volume button still worked and you could touch the screen and her things change but you could not see anything because the screen was black. It is like turning the brightness completely off a touchscreen, it works but you can't see anything. There are current recalls for this for other models but they say mine is not included. But I had the exact same problem with mine. It did not work until I turned my car off, returned and restarted my car, after that it worked normally. My can needs to be included in the recall.

The rear wheel which is Lexus OEM busted and lost air when driving on the highway at highway speed on June 23, 2026. This caused an immediate hazard and a dangerous loss of vehicle control. Fortunately, I was able to safely pull over, but this failure put my life and the lives of others at serious risk. The mileage is about 45,396. The vehicle was purchased from Freeport Lexus as a pre-owned on January 20, 2026. The recording from the dashcam shows no debris on the road and the car didn't hit any object the road. I've written an email to the dealer and asked for an field inspection of the wheel.
