I have tried to get Stevenson Lexus in Lakewood Colorado to replace the head rests , they have not ever had the parts to complete the recall. I have been waiting for over a year. I called Lexus headquarters in Texas and was told that there is a remedy but Stevenson Lexus has never offered that to me.

Strong smell of gas coming from around the car and near rear end of car. Usually after a drive. The smell does not happen after every drive. I brought up the smell to my husband a number of times within the year…and finally took to JD Auto in Arizona in June but the gas smell could not be replicated and no source or defect could be visually seen. No recall for this has been reported by Lexus. dealership. No check engine light has been recorded. Worried that there is some internal issue that could cause huge problems. I do have children who have also reported smelling the gas in the back seat.

The contact owns a 2026 Lexus NX 350H. The contact stated that the A/C unit failed to operate during extremely hot weather. A diagnostic test by the dealer determined that there was a hole in the condenser, which caused the refrigerant to leak. The manufacturer declined to help with covering the repair of the vehicle under warranty. The manufacturer attributed the damages to outside debris. Upon further inspection, the owner discovered that the A/C condenser protective shield was composed of thin metal, which failed to adequately guard the condenser against road debris. The vehicle had since been repaired. The failure mileage was 1,200.

The vehicle exhibits a severe, load-based mechanical transmission whine strictly during active acceleration. The pitch of the whining sound rises and falls in direct proportion to the engine's RPMs. This vehicle utilizes the Toyota/Lexus 8-speed automatic transmission architecture, which has a well-documented manufacturing flaw involving internal bearing wear, gear misalignment, and fluid starvation. This mechanical defect poses an immediate and severe safety hazard. The continuous internal wear and gear friction create an unpredictable risk of sudden transmission lock-up, unexpected dropping out of gear, or complete engine stalling while operating at high highway speeds. A sudden loss of motive power on a fast-moving highway leaves the driver completely unable to accelerate out of harm's way, creating an imminent risk of a severe rear-end collision or a catastrophic traffic accident. The manufacturer has failed to issue a safety recall for this known powertrain failure."

On XXX, our 2018 Lexus RX 350L was involved in a high-speed collision in [XXX]. The vehicle struck a Jersey/concrete barrier with the left front of the vehicle. The collision caused extensive damage to the left-front corner of the vehicle. The left-front wheel and suspension were severely displaced, with substantial damage extending through the left-front body structure toward the driver's door area. The vehicle was subsequently declared a total loss by the insurance company. Despite the severity of the collision, none of the vehicle's airbags deployed, including the driver's frontal airbag and driver's side curtain airbag. I am reporting this because I am concerned that the Supplemental Restraint System may not have operated as designed. I am not in a position to determine whether the impact met Lexus's deployment criteria and am requesting that the non-deployment be reviewed as a potential vehicle safety issue. The vehicle currently remains available in salvage custody. The insurance company has been asked to preserve the vehicle so that the Event Data Recorder and/or airbag control module can be examined if necessary. The Lexus NX 350 has developed a very strong odor coming from the ventilation system. The smell is consistent with standing water, stale moisture, and/or mold. This is a significant health and safety concern, as I am worried there may be standing water or mold, potentially including black mold, within the HVAC/ventilation system. If mold or contaminated moisture is present, it could potentially be circulated throughout the vehicle and contribute to respiratory irritation or allergy symptoms. I brought this concern to the dealership’s attention during a routine service visit. The cabin air filter was replaced, but this did not resolve the odor or the underlying issue. The ventilation system and potential sources of moisture have not been adequately investigated or resolved, however online review do note this is a common issue with this model. Other than routine maintenance performed by the dealership, the vehicle has not been inspected or serviced elsewhere, and I have not experienced any other issues with the vehicle. I am requesting a thorough inspection of the HVAC/ventilation system and any potential sources of water intrusion or moisture to determine the cause of the odor and ensure the vehicle is safe to operate. I am very conserned with a silent health issue, lightly brished off that may lead to lung issues ond other respitory concerns. Please take this matter seriously.

Brake actuator makes a shriek when I engage the pedal. Problem is ongoing and applies to 2015-2019 Lexus RX450 Hybrid models. Problem is getting worse, and I am afraid of brake failure. Lexus has been repairing this problem, gratis, for owners under their Customer Support Program 23LE04. I contacted Lexus and was told that Hawaii-based Lexus Vehicles are part of the Japan Dealer Network and to contact them. I made an appointment and the car was inspected on April 16, 2026. The outcome was that Lexus of Hawaii/Japan will not repair my vehicle unless I pay $4,000 for a new brake booster pump assembly /labor. Lexus of N. America is covering this repair for 10 years or 150,000 miles, but they refuse to honor it here in Hawaii.
