Additionally, the contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle hesitated to respond upon depressing the accelerator pedal. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that they could not assist because the vehicle was out of warranty. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000.

    Received recall notice and advised in AUG in letter that parts were available . Made appt with Nick Mayer Lincoln Mayfield Hts Ohio for 9/6 8:00 am. While on the way they called to say they cant do it because they didn't have the parts. I visited on 9/11 and discussed with the service manager that I was on the list and they would contact me////// Watching the Cleveland news tonight I see that there was a fire of a 2019 MKC3 . Called dealer and was told “no parts yet, out on wait list, no idea when parts will come in.” Called several times.
