Driving car on side street - going about 30 mph and car lost ALL power. Stopped completely in middle of road. No power - would not restart. NO FLASHERS. Since Aviator has "piano keys", the car would not go into Neutral and once we figured how to manually put car in neutral, we could not get the driver's door to close and latch. Car was placed on flatbed wrecker and driver had to tape the door shut for transportation. Luckily this happened during daylight hours and Sherriff's office sent a car to park behind us. Had this happened on my commute to office (at 0500) when it was DARK outside, it could have horrible - NO FLASHERS

I purchased car in Septemver of 2023, in May of 2024 I started ha jng issues with it misfiring and a mechanic told me I had a coolant leaking. in June 2024 I had to take it to a mechanic as an emergency as it wasn't driving properly. I was then informed that I need a new engine because coolant is leaking onto engine block. I then took it to the dealership i bought it from, they in turn took it to Lincoln, who verified with a diagnostic that yes it did need a new engine. i did some research and Lincoln has a safety bulletin out for ghis exact issue for cars from 2017-2019. I have had my car at dealership I bought it form snd at lincoln and no one is taking responsibility of this issue and the fact that I've had the car less then 1 year. I can't afford to replace the engine for $7,000.

I have been told by a ford mechanic on 7.11.2024, 6 weeks before buying the car that there is coolant intrusion in cylinder 2 and the only fix to this would be to replace the long block that cost a little over 8k, some how some way this vehicle dont have any recalls about this well known issue. This in no way should be on the customer due to a defect by Ford engine in there vehicles.

The coolant/ transmission fluid is found to be leaking into the engine. Now I to pay for a new engine when I have had the car 1 year and 8 months. I still owe $22,000 on the vehicle, and while it’s said that Lincoln knew about this problem, no recall was ever issued. I am 3,000 miles over the warranty, but there are no security message popping up to say this is a problem. The dealership said nothing is firing of to warn of a problem in the computer either. I had the oil changed 1 month ago but was not told or warned of an engine defect either ( I was under mileage that time). I am asking for assistance to replace this engine. I feel there should have been a recall to replace the models effected. Others have had their engines replaced free of charge I asking to extended that same courtesy free of charge. And a recall should be issued for theses bad engines when the problem was known prior to sale. I have purchased Ford vehicles in the past and but I was married at the time but he too has a LMKC right now. Please advise on some type of assistance. Thank you

We buy used 2023 Lincoln Navigator with only 2937 miles and the running boards opens and close by it self and the most dangerous that the car doesn’t start whenever it wants I have 3 times already it just doesn’t start so I don’t know what to do

Vehicle just started running rough and then the check engine light came on and almost immediately temperature indicated excessive heat. I looked in the rear view mirror and noticed excessive white smoke coming out of the tail pipes. I stopped the vehicle and opened the hood and notice there was no coolant in the reservoir. I had the vehicle towed to the Ford Dealer in Spring Hill, Florida ($125.00). While the vehicle was at the dealership I rented a vehicle for 1 and a half months ($ 2476.72). New engine long block installed and completed on July 26, 2024 and I picked up my vehicle after I paid. ($7786.12). During the time the vehicle was at the dealership I called Ford Motor and Lincoln Motor Company but was told vehicle has not been recalled and was out of warranty. See Ford TSB 22-2229

I purchased 2017 Lincoln MKC new almost immediately had electrical issues with it that has stayed throughout the vehicles life. At about 55,000 miles my car started acting up like it was misfiring. I took it to Lincoln and twice they said they couldn’t feel anything. I left the car over night because it mainly happened in morning starting up and going a certain speed. Lincoln called me and said it was something with transmission and they would fix it. The problem did not get better. At approximately 70,000 miles my engine light came on and I took it to be read. It read cylinder 1 misfire. I changed out my plugs and coils and had light reset. Light came back on at 71,000 engine over heating. I added/filled engine coolant. Light came on off and it was chalked up to an electrical issue they couldn’t find. I have had to refill my coolant several times as it drains quick in sumner heat and I have had to change my plugs and coils again. My car was recently at a Lincoln and they noted my spark plug and coils on the floor. They asked me about the radiator fluid and I explained what has been happening to my car since 55,000 miles. I was told that Lincoln is well aware that this is a problem with the MKC with radiator fluid leaking causing it to leak into out plugs, cause misfire and eventually seize the engine but there has not been a recall, leaving buyers stuck. My issue is that I went to dealership with these problems but was ignored and told it was something else. Lincoln purposly blamed the issue on something else so my warranty would be done and they wouldn’t have to cover the cost. They knew about this issue and purposely pushed it off so they would not be responsible.

Vehicle experienced failed auto-start on road, resulting in vehicle inmobility from stop in traffic, causing safety hardzard to passengers other vehicles on the road. The cause is worn VCT unit, as described in TSB 23-2143. The issue is safety critical and should not be merely addressed with an already expired customer safety program, it should be a safety recall.

MY 2015 Lincoln Navigator suddenly down shifts when driving. I was on the highway driving 65 MPH when I had to pull off onto the edge of the highway at night in CHICAGO. This is very scary and a significant safety issue. Ford knows of the defects with the transmission in this model. They have issued recalls for the same transmission in other models, just not the Navigator yet. This needs a recall immediately for the models that have transmissions with the same defects just as other Ford models such as the F150.
