Car begin smoking out of the back took car to dealership car oil was low. Car dealership refilled oil and told me to come back after driving 1000 miles. Car began smoking again like it was going to catch on fire took car in was told the turbo boost failed. Dealership mention that the turbo boost was previously repaired and under warranty so they repaired it. Car started smoking again I took car to dealership to get an oil change and made them aware that the car was smoking bad again. I was informed that it takes a while for the oil to burn out of the exhaust. Two days later I when to the store to pick up my medication and once again the car began smoking and the smoke was comin into the car, the check engiene like came on and the oil light came on as I was driving. The car began to make ding sound and start stuttering like it was going to shut off. I tried to acclerator and the car was still going slow as I was driving on a busy street. I got the car home and the next day called to have it towed to dealership. 3/2/2023 Called the dealership because I have not heard from them and was informed that the turbo boost failed again.

Hello my name is [XXX], SUNDAY FEBRUARY 26TH, 2023 @ 11pm-12am MY CAR SET ON FIRE WILL BEING OFF AND PARKED… We went out to a restaurant parked outside and our car set on fire 15 ft up the air. THANK GOD the car was NOT PARKED at home because the cops mentioned it could have had set fire on ALL my cars, and my house as well!! My mother who is under psychiatric treatment fainted when she heard the cops knock the house at 1 am and mention my car was on fire and they couldn’t reach me. (I had no signal) My sister was screaming, it was a terrible experience that has left them traumatized, as well as myself. The day before I spent the entire day with my nephew who is 3 years old.. this is a serious matter that Lincoln is not owning up to. The contact owns a 2016 Lincoln MKC. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked and unattended, the vehicle caught on fire. The contact stated that the flames were approximately 15 feet high. There were no reported injuries. A police report was filed. The Fire Department extinguished the fire. The vehicle was towed to a tow lot. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and was waiting on the police report to arrive. The failure mileage was approximately 120,000.

The contact owns a 2018 Lincoln Navigator. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle lost motive power with the check engine warning light illuminated. The failure nearly caused a collision. The contact was able to restart the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the fuel pump needed to be replaced. The contact stated that the dealer previously replaced the fuel pump; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was not repaired and remained at the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but confirmed that there was no recall associated with the VIN. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 18V392000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000.

The vehicle liftgate no longer properly latches and has opened suddenly. The interior audible warning sound continuously alerts and the interior lights sometimes fail to turn-off. The 'Liftgate Ajar' warning light remains on. This problem seems similar to the recall on 2011 Lincoln MKX.

The contact owns a 2021 Lincoln Nautilus. The contact stated that while his wife was pulling into a parking space, the vehicle abruptly accelerated, crashing into the handicap pole sign. There were no injuries. No air bags were deployed. There was no police report filed. The vehicle was towed to the dealer; however, the contact was unaware of the diagnostic results, or the repairs performed. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 8,000. The VIN was not available.

I was driving home from work thru a construction area and all of a sudden my power steering/collision warning came on and the signal with the slippery tire car symbol. My power steering went out i almost hit a concrete wall but was able to steer car in development off main road Power steering out and will not operate. Says no recalls on 2010 but online same issue with 2012 and has recall im lucky i was seriously hurt or killed. Shooken up in Florida

I took my car in on 2/22/23 to fix the second back up camera recall. However on the night of 2/23/23 the whole screen went blue when put in reverse, and on the morning of 2/24/23 just the rear camera went blue. In both cases I fixed the issue by turning off and restarting the car.

Defective seat warmer burned a hole through the driver seat and my jacket. Spoke with Lincoln dealership and customer service, both refuse to cover cost because car is no longer under warranty. I asked if they would cover the cost if I took my vehicle into the dealership to get inspected and they still refuse. If I wasn’t wearing a jacket, I could’ve suffered from burns or my seat catching fire.

Failure can happen at any time and with out warning. What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? Camera system. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? Yes Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Yes Video has been taken and supplied as well. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? Lincoln Dealership. Software update to comply with Recall was performed. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? No will work and with out warning fail.
