My vehicle was damaged by an as yet determined electrical fire seemingly having originated in the passenger door speaker components.

Display screen (Infotainment system) will randomly change the settings of my vehicle and call people or change display features or volume control or directions that is distracting and dangerous to me as I drive.

Wear of Strut Bearing causing crunching sounds at low speed braking and turning. Dealer reports this is due to dirt and debris getting up there. Vehicle has 34,000 miles (out of warranty due to time) and has had only light use off-road on dirt roads (2 camping trips). Not repairing can cause further damage and failure of suspension components. Vehicle marketed as off-road capable but components not protected properly from dirt/debris from driving off-road.

The contact owns a 2016 Mazda CX-5. The contact stated that while driving 60 MPH, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended while depressing the accelerator pedal. No warning light was illuminated. In addition, there was an abnormal rattling sound coming from the engine. The contact pulled over to the side of the road before the vehicle stalled. The vehicle failed to restart. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who determined that the engine had failed due to a lack of maintenance. The contact stated that the vehicle was equipped with an automatic reminder regarding the oil change. The contact stated that the oil change reminder failed to illuminate to indicate that the oil level was extremely low. The check engine warning light also failed to illuminate. The vehicle remained at the dealer unrepaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 130,000.

My 2014 mazda 6 EVAP system pops the p0451 when filling up gas to the first click. It goes away after a while if I take care to not fill up the tank all the way to the top. It is similar to a issue reported by recall 7414D for other 2014 mazda 6s. My car is not covered by the open recall, but it is experiencing similar issues. The p0451 goes on and off depending on how much i fill up the gastank.

Decelerating behind traffic my Mazda cx90 shut the engine down. While still rolling traffic began to accelerate and I pressed the accelerator. The engine did not restart. I bottomed out the pedal with no reaction. I completely removed pressure from the pedal then pressed again before the engine restarted. This vehicle has already had a recall repair that seemed to be for this issue

Engine Cylinder heads started to leak at 75k miles causing oil and coolant to leak and puddle. This was after a fuel pump recall.

The contact owns a 2021 Mazda CX-30. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the accelerator pedal was slightly depressed; however, the vehicle speed increased significantly independently. The contact stated that the failure occurred as the contact arrived at the contact's residence and was attempting to park the vehicle. The contact stated that the brake pedal was depressed; however the vehicle failed to stop, and the vehicle was uncontrollable. The contact stated that the vehicle crashed into the contact’s apartment building. The contact stated that the building siding and steps were damaged due to the failure. The contact was not injured; however the failure had caused serious anxiety issues for the contact. The vehicle was towed to a local tow yard. In addition, the contact stated that the vehicle was towed to the dealer two times prior to the failure because, when attempting to start the vehicle, the vehicle failed to start. The contact was informed that the vehicle's not starting was the result of a faulty battery, and the battery was replaced. In addition, the contact stated that the independent acceleration failure had occurred the day before the crash occurred; however the contact was planning to take the vehicle to the dealer the following day. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 47,000.

Hello, My name is [XXX] . I took our Mazda 6 in for wheel balance and alignment and was informed of very serious rust issues in the rear suspension. I was pretty shocked at what they showed me. I worked at Raben Tire for 10 years and I've never seen anything like this. I have two retired mechanic friends look at it, and they (along with the mechanic from firestone) said they cannot even fathom how this level of rust is possible (80+% of the miles on this vehicle are highway). One of my retired mechanic friends started looking into it and said he'd noticed the 09 Mazda recalls for suspension rust. We all thought that made sense given how immensely abnormal this rusting is. The recall list sent to me says "front" suspension. I'm not sure why the front is listed and not the rear, but this, to all of us, is very clearly faulty (the rusting is INCREDIBLY abnormal) and we believe should be considered as part of the suspension rust recall (there are no rusting issues anywhere else). Ive provided pictures. This is incredibly unsafe. The rear suspension could collapse at any moment while driving and cause casualties. While operating the vehicle it will randomly start changing infotainment system settings. The radio station settings change, navigation maps will pop up and unprompted phone calls will be initiated. Each action is followed by a “beep.” Very distracting and requires actions that take focus away from operating the vehicle.
