Having the exact same issue as was outlined and allegedly repaired in the prior service bulletin 06-001/20. Obviously this bulletin only applies to vehicles up to model year 2020. I have checked the model number on the steering motor to determine that it is the "updated" design. Obviously, the issue has not been addressed properly by Mazda.

This is in reference to the recall for the rear view camera on 7/14/2023 Manufacturer Recall Number6023G NHTSA Recall Number23V-487 Mazda has still NOT come up with an adequate remedy solution. The dealerships continue to state that they do not have the parts to replace it even though this recall was made 8 months ago. This is unacceptable as the rear view camera is an essential safety mechanism. If Mazda is unable to repair this defect, drivers should be allowed to get it repaired at other more component repair shops and be reimbursed.

Engine coolant leaks at cylinder heads I started noticing the problem at around 50000 miles its a small coolant leak but car is almost 6 years old and now 54000 miles

18-20 year same model and trim were recalled for fuel pump. Mine a 2017 has same symptoms died on highway going 75 almost life threatening. SEVERAL threads online with 2017 models are stating same case. I believe should be included in recall - very dangerous. Please please escalate so no one gets hurt on the highway!

Started out as intermittent Air Bag/Seat Belt Pretensioner system warning light about 3 months ago. Over the last 2 weeks, the warning stayed on per the manual and required replacement. I had this service performed on 3/6/2024 at a cost of $811.43 by Sumter Tire and Auto using Preordered Mazda parts invoiced on 3/1/2024.

My wife and daughter and I were driving out of the driveway. The driver's seat came completely detached from the frame and I ended up rotated and laying backwards in the driver seat. This is extremely dangerous and could cause serious injury or death. This was a recall for 2010 and 2011 models but this was manufactured in 12/11 so it didn't fall into the recall. This is exactly the issue that was described in the recall.

We own a 2018 Mazda CX-5 which developed a cracked cylinder head after slightly over 53,000 miles. We had oil leaking in our driveway and our dealership advised us not to drive it as this would be an extreme safety issue. I was advised to contact you as this seems to be an ongoing issue with Mazda CX-5's from 2018-2021. There is a safety bulletin TSB #SA-031-21. I am hoping this will help with resolving this with Mazda costumer service.

Vehicle “surges” at idle. 300-500 RPMS at a time. Sometimes the brakes hold and sometimes not. Have nearly been in 3 collisions the last 2 days because of this issue. The ECM codes indicate throttle body or TPS issue, both of which have been unfounded. Vehicle has 63,000 miles. Researching this topic online found that many others have had this issue with no associated safety recalls noted. I am hoping to bring light to this so someone doesn’t have to be injured or killed to have this rectified.

There was a TSB #[xxx] for the repair of Cracked Cylinder Head(s). Our 2018 CX-5 incurred a Cracked Cylinder Head at 5,418 miles. This was under the 60,000-mile power train warranty, but after the 5-year term had expired ([XXX]). Our issue started in late January '24. The car had been serviced at the Mazda Dealership in Hyannis, MA until my wife bought a '21 CX-5 model and gave the '18 model to our college son in FL. The TSB was for '18 - '20 models - which has now been increased to the '23 CX-5s. Mazda US would not help us in any way with the engine replacement that the Mazda dealership in Tampa replaced with a '23, 4,000-mile engine. $ 7,462.89 'new' engine that has a '23 engine that could incur the same issue! Also, my wife's newer model, '21, could also be a lemon for the TSB. We're looking for Mazda to step up for it's (loyal) clients! The work was completed and paid for on [XXX]. Mazda reviewed our case ([XXX]) and declined to assist. A reliable vehicle, Mazda, with an engine at 54,000 miles should be cared for by the manufacturer. The reason the time expired and the mileage was low was due to the lack of driving during the Covid era. We have researched online the number of cases for Mazda and the CX-5's issues with the cylinder heads. We are looking for a government interaction to assist consumers like us. In October 2023 I began to notice that the steering was not working properly. When driving I would notice that the steering would stick and require more force to turn. It would click while turning. I brought it to the tully mazda (nashua NH) who told me that others were experiencing the same but that there was no fix for this yet. On 12/27/23 I again notified tully of this issue and there was no fix for it. On 2/9/2024 I discussed again with tully who advised me that there was a recall to be announced shortly. They did not tell me that there was a safety issue driving the vehicle. On [XXX] while making a left turn (there are two side-by-side turn lanes and I was in the inside/left) i completed my turn and while straightening out the wheel the vehicle overcorrected hitting the vehicle to my immediate right.
